Leonardo Marcelli sitting over by the door in a chair with all his glory. I let out a terrified scream. Rocco got in a protective stance and growled at Leonardo.
Leonardo looked amused seeing me scared and afraid of him. "Are you going to kill me?" I asked my voice shaking a bit. "I don't know maybe I will, Cucciolo (Puppy)." Leonardo said his thick Italian voice showing.
"W-what do you want. I can give you anything just please don't kill me." I begged. I don't have a lot to my name probably a few cents no even. "Niente? (Anything)" Leonardo asked as he got up from his chair.
"Wha- does that mean?" I asked confused about the Italian language. "Niente means Anything, Cucciolo (Puppy)." Leonardo said his Italian ascent showing again.
"Ok, Well what do you want from me?" I asked and watched as Leonardo's eye trailed over my face. "Sposami (Marry Me)." Leonardo said and took in a deep breath as he noticed my confusion. "Marry me." Leonardo said with no emotion. Me on the other hand, I flustered up and I think I blew a fuse.
"What?!" I yelled and watched as Rocco layer down to cover his ears with his paws. "You want to marry me, but why?" I asked and started rubbing Rocco's fur coat.
"We don't hurt people in our Famiglia (Family) and I see potential in you, cucciolo (Puppy)." Leonardo said walking over to the bed and sitting next to me. I went somewhat rigid when he sat next to me but I tried my best to look as calm as possible.
"That doesn't make any sense." I whined, Leonardo put his hand up to his nose and started rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I saw what happened to you earlier today. I saw how quel cane(that dog) helped you. I felt bad for you." Leonardo said showing just the slightest bit of emotion.
"Wha-" I was cut off by Leonardo. "Sì o No (Yes or No)?" Leonardo asked witch took me by surprise a little. "Uh," I couldn't even think straight, well I never think straight, but still this was scary.
"We'll keep you safe from your old roommate, your college tuition will be fully covered, and you can have a room here with me." Leonardo said making me sway to one way. "Yeah sure I'll marry you." I said sheepishly. Leonardo reached over to the night stand beside me and opened the drawer.
He pulled out a black leather box and opened it revealing an engagement ring in the middle. Leonardo took the ring and placed it on my finger. I blushed a little and looked away as he placed it on my finger.
Leonardo stood up and extended a hand out for me. I gladly took it and was dragged out of the bed and into some strong arms. I looked up to see Leonardo looking down at me.
Suddenly the door bursted open and a bunch of men in black suits with guns came into the room and were prepared to shoot. My breath hitched in my throat. Leonardo pushed me behind him protecting, I think, me from those men.
