Me and Leonardo started looking at wedding stuff the other day, like what the cake was going to look like and maybe some decorations that were going to be there as well.
We haven't decided on anything yet. My parents, or more like my mother, started texting me like crazy this morning saying that she received the mail.
"My Mama and Dada are coming to New York, they've already received the invitation." I said to Leo while we were both sitting on the couch. "Ok, I'll get a guest room set up for them." Leonardo said looking at me. "When should we expect them to arrive?" He asked making me look down at my phone. "In like 3 ish hours." I said seeing my mom just now leaving their house.
"Well we should get everything set up, could you get the sheets from the closet and bring them to the guest room, while I hide the dangerous stuff." Leonardo said getting up from the couch. Leo was N going to hide the guns that he has all around the house. "Alright," I said and got up to go find the sheets for the bed.
I found the sheets and was heading to the guest room when I heard scratching at the door. I knew what was behind the door. I opened the door and revealed black furry dogs with a brown dog in the mix of all of it.
"Hey guys," I said ruffling the fur of one of the black dogs. The dog stuck its tongue out while wagging its tail. I walked away towards the guest room with the clacking of nails from the dogs behind me. I opened the door to the bedroom my parents would be staying in. "Here you go Leo," I said putting the sheets down on the un-made bed.
The dogs stopped and sat on their butts. "Ok, could you help me put the sheets on?" Leonardo asked and I nodded my head. "My parents should be here in a couple of minutes." I said putting on the top sheet finishing making the bed.
"Ok," Leonardo said fluffing the pillows putting on the end of the bed. My phone buzzed in my pocket. It was my mother she texted me. "What is it?" Leonardo asked walking around the bed to see what I was looking at. "Mama asked me where the driveway was." I said texting my mother back. Just as I texted her I heard beeping from outside.
Me and Leo walked over to window and saw a car pull up in the driveway. My mother was in the passenger seat waving her hand at me, while my father just smiled at me than glared at Leo.
Leonardo waved at my father, giving him a, what I assume is a smile. I walked away from the window to go meet my parents outside. Mama practically jumped out of the car to great me. "Hey mama." I said giving her a big hug. "My baby is all grown up now, your going to be getting married!" My mother yelled crying into my shirt. "Mama please don't cry, you'll make me cry." I said starting to get teary eyed.
"Erin," My father said coming out of the car opening his arms for me to come into them. "Dada," I said walking into his embrace. "How can you be getting married at such a young age?" My father asked patting my back lovingly. "Is he forcing you to marry him?" My father whispered in my ear. "No he's not Dada," I retorted to my father. "Why would you think that?" I asked my father, he looked to the doorway the one I came out of.
I followed his gaze to see Leonardo leaning on the door frame, his long sleeved shirt showing off his muscles. "We'll just look at him." My father said glaring at Leo. "He just screams danger." My father said I brought my hand up to the back of my neck and rubbed it.
My father was catching onto something.
"Dada he's not dangerous trust me I've known his for a long time." I said to my dad looking back at him. "I still don't trust him." My father said glaring at Leo. My father walked up to Leo and shook his hand begrudgingly. Compared to Leo my father looked tiny. My father was 5'10 and my mother was 5'7, but when either of them were next to Leo they looked like ants.
