The room was quiet before it was broken by the loud bang's. I started to violently shake from the loud noise of the gun.

I dropped the gun having it tumble on the ground I couldn't believe I shot a gun and killed Diego.

Leonardo quickly looked around just to see Diego fall to the ground blood pooling out of his head.  His brain matter had spilt everywhere, all over the walls and on the floor.

"Eric," Leonardo whispered softly still looking at Diego's dead body. I started to break down, everything from the past couple days came knocking at my door and I could hold them back anymore.

I fell on my knees on the ground crying to myself.  Leonardo was quickly pulled from his daze to comfort me.  Dropping down next to me he pulled me close to his body, as I kept crying.

Leonardo whispered in my ear quietly telling me that I would be ok and that it wasn't my fault.

I was still crying not being able to speak back to him.  "Ca-an we ge-t out o-of he-re?"  I asked in between sobs wanting to get out of her so I could forget it all.

"Yes," Leonardo said picking me up from the ground and carrying me away from the dead body.  I stuffed my face into the crook of his neck, trying to calm myself.

I looked back to see the dogs sniffing Diego's dead body and curiously licking the brain matter that was everywhere.  I was still crying but seeing them lick the brain matter and look disgusted about how it tasted made me smile just a bit.

The dogs noticed that Leonardo and I had left and quickly trotted behind us. The dogs all looked up up me probably sensing something was emotionally wrong with me. I gave them a tear eyed smile.

I was still crying but now it was lighter sobbing, than a few minutes ago.

Leonardo was still walking towards god knows where, but where ever it was it is better than that rusty place. "Are you ok?" Leonardo whispered kissing the side of my face. I sniffled, "Yeah I am ok I could be better." I said slowly. "We all could be better," Leonardo laughed softly, I also laughed a little.

"The car is just up ahead." Leonardo whispered kissing the side of my head.  I looked up from the crook of his neck to see the black car just a few meters ahead.  A sigh of relief passed over my lips.  "Great,"  I said quietly, "I can't wait to go home."  I continued, I really want to go home.

Leonardo put me down on the ground, still holding onto me by the waist, my knees started to get weak from standing for to long. Leonardo quickly opened the car door. He slowly moved me closer into the car, he held my hand as I sat down in the seat. "Are you ok?" He asked me as I clipped the seatbelt into the buckle. "Yeah, just a bit weak in the knees." I answered, he nodded his head a blank expression on his face.

He closed the car door after making sure I was all in the car and nothing was going to get caught in when the door was closed. He made his way around the front of the car and hopped in the drivers seat. "Ready?" He asked me, I nodded my head yes, giving him a nice smile.  He placed a warm hand on my inner thigh, it was warm and welcoming.

He be softly rubbed my thigh, the movement was not lustful but it was calming and anxiety relieving.

We drove through New York, the bright lights from Times Square illuminated the car. The people dressed up as different types of characters waving their hands, while taking pictures with other people in the square. Every time I drive through Times Square I become happy forget about other things that were bothering me.

But still it lingered in my mind, that I have been in a traumatic experience and it was probably going to come crashing down on me sooner or later. We drove down the street still rubbing my thigh softly.
