Soon as I heard the dial tone a the fastest mi fly up out of the bed and into the bathroom to freshen up.
Aye mi excited enuh. I've only been to St. Ann about twice, one a couple years ago with aunty when she came to market and the other when Kera had dragged me behind her and her man one Christmas eve to grand market.
That was my first time going and my last. The people dem drink til dem fool and couldn't drive come up until the next day. Plus all the two idiot dem woulda do a fight the whole night, at one point mi decide say mi mus could find a bus weh a go my side.
But after mi memba weh aunty say mi jus decide fi stay cause mi know say she woulda cuss an say mi leff Kera an gone and whatever so mi did hold a sleep inna the backseat while dem a party.
After brushing my teeth and stuff I went inside my room to pack my bag.
Den look how mi one time school bag come in handy eeh, else is a market bag mi woulda have to swing.
I wasn't sure what to pack exactly since I didn't really know what B planned but I think we're gonna stay in mostly.
I took out 3 t shirts, 3 house shorts, 1 suit to go out in and my work outfit for Monday.
I tied my toiletries in a small bag before packing them also. I grabbed six underwear and my favourite black bra.
Thank God mi wash it the other day else a same so it woulda affi go.
Ohhh I forgot about a shoes so I went in search for my favourite and only nice black strappy slippers. It'll pair well with the dress if we decide to go anywhere.
Bwoy excitement jus full up mi likkle body so mi caa even stay still.
I double checked to make sure I had everything my deodorant, lotion, charger and such before I locked all the doors and windows and headed out.
Thankful taxi prevalent round these parts on Saturdays so I wasn't really worrying about that today.
I took out my phone to call Belle to let her know I was leaving home now.
She said that she was finishing up sorting out the clothes in the room before she took a shower and left out.
Taxi came finally and I was on my way to Highgate town to catch a bus.
"But wait deh nuh Jevi wifey dis." I heard a voice exclaim from the front of the vehicle.
I was peaking around to see who he was talking about, when my eyes made four with the man driving.

Like God answered my prayers the drive seemed shorter and I couldn't be more thankful.
Mi a the first person fly the door as the car stop. I basically threw my bus fare in his lap before I turned on my heel to find a bus.
"YUH GWAAN MAN, MI AGO TELL THE G SAY YUH THIEF WEH GONE A MAN YARD!" He shouted to me as I hurried to the bus that was loading.
