Part 1~surprise

pov:lucas buys max a present for their anniversary without her knowing what it is (their married).

lucas woke up to the sound of screaming in his ear.He jumped up just to see max looking all excited."guess what day it is" max said while looking like she's about to explode.Lucas sat there for a minute pretending to think."christmas" max was not impressed by his answer."ha ha really funny you idiot" she said while getting out the bed going into the bathroom.He waited to the door shut and started his plan.He was heading out with his friends (dustin,mike,and will) he couldn't hang out with el because he sent her to his and max's house to stall max.Lucas and his friends went into many different stores looking for the perfect gift.They found nothing that max actually liked.At this point they sat down to take a break then el called,turns out max was mad because lucas just left without saying anything and didn't even tell her where he was going.He had to say sorry many times before she forgave him,he made up an excuse and hung up the phone.The last thing he wanted was max to find out what he was up to since she's very good at doing so.Dustin came up with something "what about buying her some lingerie" he suggested waiting on an answer.mike hit dustin so hard that he flew off the bench,mike didn't like the idea of max in a lingerie especially because she was lucas wife.Then will suggested "what about a dog,like buying her one" he said while looking at the rest of his friends.Everyone thought that was a good idea but dustin like his idea even better tho.They got up and went to a pet store to buy max a pretty dog.They didn't want anything too big but nothing to small so they decided to get a medium sized puppy which was great for max because she can carry him with no problem at all.They walked out the store with the puppy and it was so cute.Before they went home lucas went to the store and grabbed a big bag to put the dog it.After that he went home and max was there waiting on him.She was on the couch watching tv but when she saw him she turned it off and gave all her attention to him."I got you something " she said while smiling "me first" lucas said then slid the bag over to her.she was about to pick it up when suddenly the bag started moving.Max got scared and jumped on the couch into lucas lap."your so funnnnnny" lucas said while looking at her up and down.Max got down and opened the bag when it stopped and when she looked in she almost cryed  from happiness.Max was so happy that she could scream,she ran over to lucas and hugged him.She played with the dog for a while then gave lucas his gift,it was a camera because max knew how much lucas loved taking pictures of things.They sat there and enjoyed the rest of their day.
