5. Change

Tom POV-

The night air is stilled and crisp as I walk at a fast pace towards the Malfoy manor. (What is this restless, uneasy and urgent feeling that I've been having since leaving Harriet's side? Maybe Lucius might know.) Upon reaching the front door, a house elf opened the door hurriedly "Master's in study" it said before disappearing. My heart started pumping as I became agitated with my new found foreign emotions, making the trip up the staircase seem short. Within a few more quickened steps, the study door was in my sight.

With force behind fast steps I practically slammed the door up with my body, scattering parchment around the room and almost making Lucius shit himself. "Fucking hell my lord! Give me a damn heart attack, why don't you!" bellowed out Lucius as he held his chest a little. "Dramatic.....You'll be fine, I have a question." I said, giving Lucius a side glance. "Yes my lord?" Lucius grumbled under his breath while sitting back down into his seat. "Do you sometimes get this restless, urgent feeling when you're not around Narcissa?" I asked quickly. Lucius sat there for a second "Yes? I felt them especially when Narcissa and I first became mates. Then a little bit later when she became pregnant with Draco. I hardly ever wanted to go to work, I didn't like the idea of leaving her alone."

The word 'mates' struck me hard, something clicking in place. (Mate's, out of all the thing's for her and I to be. Does she know or have the same feelings as I?) Lucius took that moment to look at Tom, "My lord if I may ask, is there a chance that you've met your fated one?" I froze where I stood. "In all honesty Lucius, I don't know." Anxiety creeps through me as I start to overthink about the outcomes. "You don't know? What do you mean by that?" Questioned Lucius. I sighed in frustration "It means that she is not of age, she is Harriet Potter." To say Lucius was flabbergasted was putting it lightly. "How peculiar?" was all he was able to manage. "You really are of great help, aren't you?" I backhandedly asked. I started making my way to the door. "Will if you'll excuse me, I'm going to collect Harriet and her family. I shall summon you and the other's when I am done."

"Sorry my lord, but I'm going with you. Two's better than one when moving a family." I looked at him for a second. "Fine do as you wish" With that said we walked to the front of the manor to the apparition spot. "4 Privet Drive, follow me." Then off we went with a loud snap that echoed in the air.
