Brothers failed reunion/Steve get's help

Herobrine was in the Nether, he needed to clear his head and think about everything. He was in the crimson forest, his favourite one out of the two forests in the Nether, he sat down dangling his legs over the edge as he started to think back

Steve was looking down at the food, it was some mutton, his leg was shaking like crazy and he looked completely scared. "N-No" Steve said softly pushing the plate away 'it looks wrong' he signed. Herobrine sighed "how?" he asked him, Steve just shook his head as he was still panicking. Herobrine teleported next to him and pulled him in for a hug. Steve hugged him back crying into his chest.

Herobrine frowned at the memory. He looked around, trying to forget about it, he spotted some mushrooms. He got up and grabbed some mushrooms 'one more try, then we'll go to Notch' he thought to himself as he teleported to the portal back home.

Herobrine went upstairs, the house was empty as Steve was probably looking after to animals Alex had dropped off. Herobrine went to the kitchen making mushroom soup for the both of them.

Steve sheered the sheep and the wool away, that was the last of the animals. Steve left the barn and went back inside. "Steve you're just in time I'm making mushroom soup, want some?" Herobrine asked him. Steve walked over, he was starving and it did smell nice, he looked to the soup in the pan it didn't look wrong. "I'll...try" he said meekly. Herobrine smiled "go sit down then it is nearly done" Steve nodded and sat down; it didn't smell wrong or bad, it didn't look wrong either so maybe by chance it won't taste wrong either. Herobrine put a bowl of soup down for Steve and another down for himself "I use to eat this all the time in the Nether" Herobrine said as he started to eat. Steve smiled a bit to him then looked to the soup, just like before he noted it didn't smell wrong and it didn't look wrong either, Steve picked his spoon up and ate a little bit. The texture was odd but something he could handle as he swallowed it and looked to Herobrine "i-it's nice" he said softly. Herobrine was shocked "really?" Steve nodded as he ate a bit more of the soup. Herobrine hugged him, he was happy too finally find something Steve could eat, he pulled away and sighed Steve looked to him and tilted his head "I'm happy we found out you can eat this...but that is after all the brake downs you've had before this" he said Steve looked down feeling a bit guilty "so I think we should go to Notch" he added. This shocked Steve as he looked towards him again 'We can I don't mind, but why? I thought you didn't want to see him?' he asked Herobrine "I don't...but he can look at your code and tell us exactly what can and can't eat" Steve nodded 'alright, we can go tomorrow' he signed 'for now let's eat I'm very hungry' he added blushing slightly Herobrine chuckled and patted his head "yh sounds good, Steve"

It was the next day and Steve was making sure the animals had food and water. Herobrine teleported into the barn "you ready to go, Stevie?" Herobrine asked, Steve blushed at the nickname. Steve faced Herobrine and nodded 'are we gonna teleport?' he asked "yep" Herobrine said going over to him pulling Steve close to his side, which made Steve blush even more. They both teleported to Notch's mansion, Herobrine let go of Steve as he looked around and saw the city the mansion now resided in, "my gods...I remember when this place was just a town" Steve looked him then to the city "it's big now" he said softly. Herobrine looked to him, smiling slightly. "come on let's go knock" he said, Steve nodded and they went to the doors, Steve knocked on the door and Echo opened the door. Echo gasped as they saw Herobrine "I'll-I'll get Notch" They said as they ran away to get Notch

Echo ran into the library where Notch was "Notch, your brother and Steve are here" They said to him. Notch got up and nodded to them as he teleported to the front door. "Steve! Brother. what brings you both here?" he asked the two "can we come in first" Herobrine said Notch nodded opening the door more for them. Steve and Herobrine go inside as Notch closes the door behind them "Let's talk in my office" he said as he took them both to his office. The three of them took a seat. "so why are you both here?" Notch as the two of them "I have been trying to get Steve to eat more, only yesterday we found out he liked mushroom soup, so I suggested we come here so you can look at his code and tell us what he can and can't eat" Notch nodded "Steve do you have anything to say?" Steve shook his head 'Herobrine explained it all' he signed to Notch. Notch nodded and god up "well follow me then and we can get started" he said taking the two to a room, There was a bed and a laptop on a table which had wires coming from it. "alright Steve lay on the bed, once the process starts you will fall asleep" Steve nodded and laid down on the bed. Notch went over connecting one wire to his chest, over his heart, another one on his arm and the last one on his wrist. "Goodnight, Steve" he said as he pressed enter on his computer and Steve fell asleep.

Notch sighed "it'll take 10 minuets to load" Herobrine nodded and looked away. The room felt very awkward "you know I missed you, Herobrine..." Herobrine scoffed "could have fooled me" he said back to him "brother-"

"no Notch!" Herobrine shouted "I was stuck there for 190 years! you could have let me out at anytime!" Notch sighed "and I'm sorry-"

"save it..." Herobrine said getting up "I'm here to help Steve not talk to you" he added as he left the room. Notch sighed and put his head on the table 'that could have gone better' he thought.

It had been a few hours, Herobrine was in the library waiting. Notch teleported to him "it's only one page...but that is all he can eat" Notch pipped up as he gave the page to Herobrine. Herobrine took it, it was quite a short list but it was enough. He nodded "is he awake?" he asked Notch and Notch nodded "he is, you guys may go home" Herobrine goes to leave when Notch spoke and grabbed his wrist "you know you are always welcome here, you and Steve" Herobrine pulled his wrist away "we're fine" he said as he teleported to Steve, who was sitting up in bed, "ready to go home?" he asked, Steve jumped a bit then looked to Herobrine, Steve nodded 'can I say 'bye' to Notch first though?' he asked Herobrine. Herobrine sighed, he just wanted to leave already, "yh...sure" he said as he took Steve to Notch. Steve goes over to Notch and hugs him, Notch hugged back, "Bye, Steven" he said as he pulled away and Steve went back to Herobrine "Bye, Herobrine" Notch said but Herobrine ignored him and just teleported him and Steve back home.

They go home and Herobrine sat down at the table putting his head down on the table. Steve goes over to him sitting next to him. "H-Hero?" Steve asked softly. Herobrine looked towards him 'why won't you forgive Notch?' he signed. Herobrine sighed "why should I? he trapped me in the Nether for 190 years"

'but he let you free' Herobrine sat up "yh...because of you, Stevie..." Steve blushed slightly 'can't you try? Notch seems to be trying?' Herobrine groans and put his head back on the table "fine...not now though" Steve put a hand on his back "it's ok" he said softly.
