It was just a normal day for Herobrine. He was just sitting on thrown wearing his golden crown, he shifted and growls feeling a players presence in the Nether, HIS Nether. How dare a mortal tries to venture in his Nether. Herobrine sighed taking his crown off and putting it down as he teleported to the player. When he saw them his eyes widen, this player looked just like him, he turned himself invisible and started to spy on the player.
Steve sighed to himself and looked around as he stepped out of his portal. The Nether. It scared him really but he pushed his fears down as all he needed was quartz, Nether wart, and soul sand.
Steve found a lot of quartz and once he was happy with the amount he got he stopped and started to look for a Nether fortress, it took him a handful of minuets to find one. He has finally found a fortress and headed straight there. As Steve went into the fortress he saw the Nether wart he need along with the soul sand and started to collect it all. Once he had finished taking it all he turned around but bumped into to someone, Steve looked up to the myth facing back at him.
Herobrine bared his teeth growling at the mortal in front of him. The player went through his inventory and brought out a notepad he started to write something down then showed it to Herobrine 'Herobrine? you're real?' it read. Herobrine scoffed at that "of course I am, now speak to me mortal" He demanded. The player swallows and meekly wrote down 'I cant speak' Herobrine blinked as he read that, the player seemed to remember something then wrote something else down 'are you angry about the nether wart farm?' He read that and shook his head 'Get out' Herobrine did sign language, if the player was going non-verbale then he will too, this made the player drop his notepad 'you know sign language too?' the player was shaking but Herobrine could tell it wasn't cause he was scared but because he was excited 'yh if you aint gonna talk why should I?' the player blinked 'Touché' the player signed. Herobrine tilted his head 'what is your name, mortal?'
'Steve'
'Get out, Steve' Steve frowned at this 'but I want to explore' Herobrine was taken back, this mortal just talked back to him as if he wasn't the Lord of Evil. 'Get out' he signed again 'of the fortress or the Nether?' Steve signed back "GET OUT OF THE NETHER!!" Herobrine shouted, floating of the ground slightly, his eyes flashing brightly.
Steve stood back 'alright...I'm sorry' Steve signed quickly then ran away. Herobrine sighed as he floated back down. He took a step and stood on Steve notepad, he groans as he picked it up. "general Ender!" he summoned and an Enderman appeared in front of him "take this back to the player" he ordered, the Enderman nodded and teleported and away with the notepad.
Steve ran through his portal and ended up back in his basement, he turned around looking at the portal, 'Herobrine is real' he thought looking at the portal with awe. He blinked and turned around going upstairs. Steve sighed as he looked for his notepad, it wasn't in his inventory, he started to panic then saw it on the table he sighed out of relive and picked it up. Steve hummed 'did Herobrine bring it back?' he thought.
It had been a week since Steve went in to the Nether but Steve couldn't stop thinking about Herobrine. At this moment Steve was sitting in his basement, facing the Nether portal, with his notepad in hand he took a deep breath hoping this will work. He wrote down 'can I come in, Herobrine?' he ripped the paper out and throw it in the portal
Herobrine was sitting on his thrown listening to a creeper who was 'talking', it was more like hissing, to him about overwold affairs. Herobrine then sat up as he felt something? enter the Nether. The creeper stopped talking and took a step back at his Lord's sudden movement "sssir?" the creeper asked "...you're dismissed" Herobrine simply said, the creeper bowed and left. Herobrine teleported to the disturbes and saw a note he picked it up and was shocked by what it said 'can I come in, Herobrine?' he sighed and made a pen appear in his hand 'why?' he wrote under it and throw it back. He would be lying if he said he wasn't interested in the mortal, but he'll never admit that.
Steve was about to get up when the note came back, he was so surprised, he read it 'why' it simply said. Steve hummed and blushed 'I cant say "oh cause I wanna see you" ' he face palmed 'Dammit Steven get your head straight' he told himself off. He got his notepad and wrote 'I wanna explore' he ripped the page out and looked to it, he wasn't lying he did want to explore the Nether, he throw it in.
Herobrine sighed 'why am I even waiting here?' he got angry about to teleport away when another note came throw, he grabbed it. 'I wanna explore' he sighed 'fine, but I have to come with you so you don't get lost or die' he looked at his reply then tore it up and burnt it to ash, he huffed, he couldn't say that. Herobrine magicked up some paper 'fine, just don't disturb me' he wrote, something inside him stung as he throw the note in, and not a minuet later the player came through.
Steve looked to him 'you're still here' he signed smiling to him. Herobrine blinked and blushed, how could someone so sweet smile at a monster such as himself. He huffed looking away "yh, bye" he said turning around about to walk away when he felt a hand on his wrist, he instinctively pulled back, he looked back to the player holding his wrist "what mortal?!" he said a bit too loudly. Steve shuffled a bit 'can you show me around?' Herobrine blinked, did he see that right?, "you. want ME. to show you. around the Nether?" he asked in disbelief, Steve nodded 'please?', Herobrine laughed "no I have better things to do" he lied. Steve looked up with big blue eyes Herobrine was lost for words, how did he do that?, he couldn't believe he was gonna say this "but...hm ok them" he blushed and looked away. Steve gasped and signed 'thank you' at least 10 times as he was very excited.
As the two walked around the Nether and as they talked to each other the more Herobrine liked the man's company. "so...are you mute or do you just not talk?" Herobrine asked, Steve looked away 'I just don't talk...I do have a voice' he signed as he sighed. Herobrine tilted his head "then why don't you talk?" he asked 'don't like it...people hate me I hate people...why talk' he signed, Herobrine blinked he had never heard something so relatable. "huh...can I hear your voice?" he asked, Steve opened his mouth, mostly caught of guard, he sighed feeling vulnerable "N-No" Steve said very softly, he wasn't even sure Herobrine even heard him, he did though and he was smiling a bit. Herobrine played dumb "huh?" Steve looked to him boredly and signed 'no' Herobrine laughed then shrugged "alright" Steve looked to him then smiled. From that moment Steve wanted nothing more then to make Herobrine laugh again.
Herobrine sighed "well we're back at your portal now" Steve nodded and smiled 'thank you, Brine' Herobrine raised an eyebrow on question "Brine?" Steve blushed 'it's easier then Herobrine' Herobrine laughed slightly and shrugged "I don't mind it" Steve smiled to him 'bye, Brine' he signed as he went through his portal and as he stepped back home he found himself missing the demon already, Steve tried to push the feeling away and just went to bed instead.
Herobrine watched him leave, He sighed watching the portal a bit longer, he turned around and started to walk home missing the mans company, but not admitting it to himself.
