Herobrine caught a note from the portal smiling to it 'can I come in' it read, he got a pen and wrote 'yh', he throw it back in and the next thing to come out was Steve 'hay' he signed looking really happy, Herobrine smiled slightly "so why you wanna be here?" Herobrine asked him 'I wanna see you' Steve signed hesitantly. Herobrine blinked, he was taken off guard by what Steve had said, "s-sure" he said cursing himself for stuttering. Steve looked even happier "ee" he made a happy noise 'thank you' Herobrine was a bit confused by the noise he made but shrugged it off as he thought it was cute. "so? wanna go to my fortress?" Herobrine asked, Steve nodded 'lead the way, Brine' Herobrine smiled and and they both walked to his fortress.

Herobrine and Steve was in Herobrine's room. They was both just chatting as they sat across from each other "so you said 'people hate you' why is that?" Steve swallowed nervously 'they say I look like the God of Chaos...you...' he signed slowly. Herobrine blinked and growled "that shouldn't matter you act nothing like me and on top of that you're mute! and 'God of chaos'? I named myself the Lord of evil for a reason!" Herobrine ranted feeling angry Steve chuckled softly and shrugged 'it's ok.. I have Alex and you now' he signed and smiled to Herobrine. "how do you do that?" Steve tilted his head 'do what?'

"Smile!...after everything...you still smile" Steve blinked, he had never thought about it before, 'I don't know...it's just better to be happy with what you got then sad about what you don't got' he signed Herobrine nodded "huh, I never saw it like that before"

Steve changed the subject 'cause everyone pushed me away for looking like you I started to do my research so I think I know all of your stories' Steve signed, Herobrine laughed which made Steve smile a bit as he blushed, "so you're a fan?" Herobrine joked, Steve squeaked and blushed more, 'yh, I guess so' he signed sheepishly. Herobrine spoke up "so do you know the story of Rosewood?" he asked wanting to see just how much Steve knew about him. Steve nodded 'Rosewood was your 5th Village?' he questioned as he wasn't very sure. Herobrine nodded "yep, wow you have done your research"

'well I got that story from Notch himself' Steve signed. Herobrine blinked "my brother gave it to you?" Steve nodded 'when I had gone through all of Notch's library...' he started as he remembered back

A young Steve, age 18, had his head on the table. Notch goes over putting a hand on his back "Steven, my boy, I think I may have something that you may want" he said and sat down next to him. Steve looked up, tilting his head in question.

Steve chuckled softly at the memory. Herobrine sighed "yh trust my brother wanting that one gone"

'it was pretty bad...' Steve signed. Herobrine looked away "I don't even remember much of Rosewood...I had completely whited out,, t-the monster had taken full control" he said trying not to remember back to parts he could remember. Steve put his hand on Herobrine's hand "it's...ok" he said very softly trying to reassure the demon, who looked close to a panic attack. It took Herobrine right out of whatever he was remembering and he focused on Steve "you spoke" he said surprised Steve giggled "I trust you" he spoke again "alright, chatterbox" he said looking away slightly, trying to suppress a fuzzy feeling in his chest, "I trust you too" he said softly letting his feelings win

After that moment Steve went back to sign language and they talked until Steve wanted to go home.
