It had been an awful day. It started off good with a date set up for my Airborne physical test. It devolved into scrambling to finish extra work I took to get ahead of my class. I didn't even leave the room or talk to my family all day.

It's been like this for the past few days since I landed. I wanted to finish it as soon as possible so I could spend the rest of my block leave with my family. I don't care at this point; I'm almost done.

I just took a shower and went to bed. I could hardly keep my eyes open after everything I've done today. My feet were aching after standing for hours on end so it felt great to get off my feet and onto my nice comfortable bed. I was going to sleep all day tomorrow after this.

Hours Later...

I woke up with a start after having a particularly vivid nightmare and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a common occurrence. I was still tired, but there was no way I was going to sleep anytime soon. I sat up to at least get my adrenaline pumping through my body. Might as well use more energy to get sleepy faster.

I was going to get myself something to drink since I didn't have anything to do for the next few hours. That was before my hand lied on something soft and I know that it wasn't my bed because my bed is firm. I looked over to it, maybe I left my fluffy socks there and that was what I was feeling.

Yeah... not the case. A purple blob entered my vision making me question if I was hallucinating from just waking up. It happened on occasion so I wasn't too surprised or it was me automatically suppressing my emotions, also common. I need my glasses to see it clearly... or that was the plan until I got out of bed and heard a crunch before pain shot through my leg. It didn't take a genius to figure out what I did. I stepped and broke my glasses with my bare feet and now I had glass in them... oddly enough, it wasn't the first time.

"Fuck!" I grunted loudly and loud enough that the blob yawned and sat up. On the other hand, I could use the help getting the glass out of my feet. You could probably think that I was being way too calm about this and you'd be right. I could hardly see anything so I don't know what the hell it was.

Whatever it is, if it was sleeping then it may not know where it is either, but what the hell could it be? I was so tired and not being able to see what the hell was going on was pissing me off. My spare was also broken because of an accident that happened a few months earlier so I was fucked.

"W-where am I?" The voice came from the blob and it was feminine from what I can tell. It also sounded a bit scared if I was hearing correctly, but that was my interpretation. "You... Who are you?" Yup, that was directed towards me.

"Hunter and you're in my bed," I responded before there was a lengthy pause between us, I could only presume that she was looking around my room. I turned on my light and blinded us both and my vision was beginning to clear. Yeah... she wasn't human, but very much a girl. "How the hell am I gonna explain this to my parents?"

"I don't know what's happening." I sighed as I walked around my room to look for my phone because I can't remember where I left my phone. I found it... it was 6 in the morning.

"You and me both, we may have to hide you unless you want to meet my little brother." She looked around before looking at herself and blushed.

"Do you mind giving me some clothes?" I gave her my orange jacket; the jacket was a new one I got and I hardly used it. The color scheme seemed to contrast nicely against one another so that was a plus. "Thank you, but don't you have any bottoms I can use?" I shook my head, pretty sure the waist was too big as they were for me, causing her to sigh before I walked out of my room so she can get dressed. I went to grab my glasses to see a bit better. It took me a minute to remember that I just broke my back up pair of glasses so I didn't have any so I grumbled and waited.
