Alright, before we get into the story itself, a timeline has to be established since I am combining two plotlines.
Peter Parker, who I am using as my main character, doesn't have quite as large of a role as the other superheroes in the MCU other than with Tony Stark. Consistently referred to as the 'Friendly-Neighborhood Spider-man' or the 'crime-fighter' who protects the 'little guy,' I always thought it was quite demeaning. DON'T get me wrong, Spider-man has been my favorite superhero (if you can't tell) since I was a child and I would never hate on the character. The whole reason for him being my favorite is because he looks after the 'little guy' rather than those who over-all threaten the world. But what always irked me was that he was constantly referred to as a 'kid.' Personally, when I hear the words kid or child, I think of innocence and purity. Spider-Man was labeled as a vigilante, someone who stopped gangs, beating, drug cartels, and rapes. No child or kid willing faces that day after day and will remain innocent. I'm hoping through this story that I represent a different side of Peter Parker, a person who no matter how young he is, still handles larger more critical, and crucial matters every day hoping to help protect the world in which he lives.

Since Peter Parker's journey into the MCU technically started in 2010, as Tom Holland had confirmed, in the movie of Iron Man 2, and the newest MacGyver series started in 2016, I had to alter a couple of things for the storyline to fit. For example, Peter's age. From research in both MacGyver and Peter Parker's MCU background, Peter's age was going to be an issue. Angus MacGyver was estimated to be born in 1992 or later which made him 5 in 1997 when his mother died, which wouldn't have worked out because, in the MCU timeline, Peter Parker was born in 2001. So, unless Peter Parker was born to another mother or just randomly appeared, he would have to be born sooner. So here is the timeline that I created! Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong on certain points, I have only gotten to season 2 of MacGyver, so any information after that, I don't know.

December 12 (I don't know the accurate date): Mac and Peter's mother dies from cancer

2004: Mac is 12 years old, and Peter is 5
March: Mac and Peter's Father, James MacGyver, leaves
In the Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker was 5 years old when he watched his parents leave, so I thought it would be a great coincidence that it happened in this too
March 23: Mac and Peter were both informed by their grandfather that their dad wasn't coming back
