To Catch A Leaf

Cole held on to the table that was beside him as the ground violently shook. But the cause wast an earthquake, or an aftershock of one.
no, the shaking was caused by Mk's own severe case of the hiccups. Everytime he hiccup'd, something bad or strange happened, and he's been having them all morning. Cole had his guesses at to that caused the hiccups in the first place, but he didn't have the faintest idea as to why they were so powerful.

"This is the worst case of hiccups I've ever seen! How'd it happen?! " pigsy cried as tang who seemed completely unaffected by everything, continued to eat noodles as he does as usual. " so, remember how you told Mk not to enter that beef ball eating contest? "
Mei said as she pulled out her phone, making Lloyd's suspicion grow. " under no circumsta nces, yeah. " pigsy said as he remembered that moment.

Mei showed him and Cole the pictures on her phone of Mk stuffing beef balls in his mouth with Mie beside him. " five hundred - hic - beef balls in five minutes! " Mk said before spinning around in a bar chair. Then he huccuped again, which sent him through the roof as Lloyd wince.

Cole looked at the whole in the ceiling for a moment before looking at mei and pigsy the others. "So, we discovered the cause for his hiccups, but that doesn't explain why their so powerful. "he said. "Yeah, we think the beef balls might've been cursed. " mei said, looking a little apologetic, Lloyd facepalmed. "Oh - fuckin' - course they were. " he said, mentally cursing whoever cursed the beef balls. " - hic -
So good though! " Mk said from whenever he was, making Cole chuckle in slight amuseme nt. "Mk, of all the thoughtless adventure set ups you could think of, this takes the cake. " pigsy said. " we tried everything! I've tried rubbing his belly, scaring him with good story,
And hitting all his pressure points! But nothing worked! " Mei cried, as he tried many attempts on Mk, and Mk let out another hiccups that flung him into something that, based on the sound of it breaking, was rather fragile, and the ninjas wince at that.

Zane then thought about something, until had an idea. "Have you guys ever tried tea, jay once had hiccups and we tried tea which it helps with the hiccups, why don't you try that on Mk? " Zane suggested which he smile softly, which Cole replied. " not bad, Zane, actually we kind a ran out of those leaves we had
Zane." Cole sighed in disappointment rememb ering that the leaves had been runned out.

Everyone gave them strange looks. " what? Tea always help jay whenever he have hiccups? " Cole defended himself and Zane, " granted I never had hiccups like Mk's before. "
Jay added, and mei turned to the scholar.

"Mr. Tang! You gotta know some ancient techniques for, uh, food poisoning curses, right? " she asked leaning into tang  nudging him with her elbow. " right noodle guy? Huh? Huh? " Mk joined in, both kids were knocked away by sandy, who didn't seem to notice well. " I'm not fun when I'm feeling so hot. A special brew of tea perks me right up! " he said. " oh thanks god were not the only two. "
Cole said, sounding relieved. " oh, sandy is in this one I see. " tang said with a slightly emotionless tone that made Zane chuckle little bit. A chuckle that was quickly cut off by a hiccup that seemed to be released a shockwave, thewoung everyone to the ground
"Ow." Cole muttered as he push the chair off him. "Uh, sandy, Cole? This somethin tells me that a bit of a loose leaf, ain't gonna help us in this particular scenario! " pigsy said standing up as he leaned his arm on the stall counter table.

"Pigsy, would you mind please keep an open mind when it comes to Sandy's tea as my tea shop, could you? " Zane deadpanned at him. He had experienced the amazing properties of his master's tea himself. The first time he tried the dragon fruit tea, it really calm his robotic nerves and jay had tried it too calming his nerves down.
