Chapter 14

Destiny Fulfilled

Cole watched, anxiety building, as wukong, Lloyd and mk got closer to each other, then the feeling gave away to relief when macaque and suddenly jay appeared darted forward pushing wukong and lloyd away from MK and holding him back a bit. "Alright you guys. I hope that staff was worth it! " they both called, looking back at the two before the two began to fight with wukong and lloyd. Cole quickly went over to MK and crouched down beside him.

"Get that staff. " he said. "What are you gonna do? " MK asked him. Cole glanced over at LBD and her gave her a death glare.

"I'll keep the bone bitch busy. " he replied. "Trying to take on me in one on one? Oh dear elemtal master of earth, you couldn't possibly. " LBD said, amusement laced in her voice, though she paused at the sight of the lava arms that covered both of Cole's arm, and across from his neck to his collar.

"We'll see about that! " Cole hollered before darting forward, fist drawn back in a punch as a battle cry left his throat.

His speed had greatly increased to the pint LBD barely had time to Dodge, but still, Cole's fist landed on empty air. "Child, you cannot change the course of destiny! " LBD snapped at him. "Sometimes, we won't able to stop destiny, still we make our own destinies! " Cole replied before he continued fighting, throwing physical hits as well as as magical attacks.

His personal favorite became the one where he hit the ground making rock spikes that could surround LBD, and continue to hit her from all angles, three times each, before they disappeared. In fact, Cole was doing pretty good, until he glanced over to check on MK. He was shocked to see him struggling to pull on the staff that was rooted to the ground by the ice.

"No.. " he murdered. Then, he let out a sharp cry of surprise and slight pain as a hand closed on his throat and ice began to creep across his skin, leaving an unpleasant chill. "Oh you two, sun wukong couldn't best me. What do you hope to accomplish when he has failed? Cast aside your stubbornness and face your demise with honor. " LBD slightly snapped as she began to lift the bottom off his feet.

Cole let out a soft breath as he saw wukong and lloyd hit the ground. And toss both jay and macaque's body to the ground, stepping over him as the possessed great sage and green ninja. "If you really believe that destiny can't be changed, you wouldn't using every ounce of power you have time keep him and my lover contained! The monkey King and green ninja we know will never stop fighting you! " MK called out.

"And we won't either. We won't give up, not even when we're down to our last breath. " Cole rasped. LBD's hand squeezed tighter, and Cole began to struggle for air. Suddenly, wukong and lloyd shot forward, but, instead both hitting MK, wukong his hand closed around the staff, and lloyd hugging MK from the back.

"Each, thanks for not, giving up on us
guys. " the two managed to get out. And despite his current situation. Cole couldn't help but let out a laugh of relief. Wukong and Lloyd was back.

"What?! No! " LBD cried. "Time for the hero stuff, MK. " Lloyd said to MK, who then also pit his hand on the staff. Together wukong and MK, they broke it free from its icy prison, and a golden shockwave appeared, knocking what appeared to be the outlines of LBD out of wukong and lloyd.

His skin colour returned to normal, nothing was tinted blue, and the Phoenix feathers on his little cap had returned to their brilliant red. Lloyd his gi not tinted blue anymore instead back to normal in green. The shockwave also knocked LBD back, and she lost her grip on Cole, who collapsed to the floor, gasping for breath. "Ugh, I can still feel her crawling under my skin, ugh! " wukong called out, sounding a little disgusted.
