Something's not right.

_

Once i left gringotts, I walked into the first shop I saw and instantly regretted it.

Loads of women were lined up at the front of the shop for reasons I did not know. It was loud and the shop was too occupied, so I made a split second decision to get out and come back later, when the shop was less crowded and noisy. But a familiar voice stopped me as began to walk out. I turned to see a smiling Ronald and Hermione approaching me.

''Aurora!''. Hermione instantly hugged me, getting her bushy hair all over my face. I groaned in displeasure. ''I've missed you so much''. She finally let go.

I rolled my eyes as I began straightening my black elegant robe. ''Yeah yeah, whatever''.

''By the way, what's happening over there?''. I nodded towards the gathered women. Hermione instantly blushed while Ronald frowned. I raised a perfect eyebrow at their reactions.

''They are all lined up for Gilderoy lockhart's autograph, and mom's among them, Merlin, the embarrassment''. Ron answered, clearly displeased with his mother.

''Lockhart?, you mean that fraud?''.

''You too!?''. Hermione pointed at me accusingly. ''Mr. Lockhart is a great wizard, Not a fraud!''.

I stared at Hermione, trying to contemplate if she was joking, or just a plain idiot. By the look on her face, I'd go for the latter. ''Have you even read any of his books?''. I asked, hoping my smart and intelligent friend was somewhere in there.

She nodded, beaming. ''Fascinating, aren't they?''. Then sighed dreamily.

I just looked up into the heavens and quietly asked God(if there was any) how it all came to this. Merlin, I'd never guess someone as intelligent as Hermione could be this dumb.

Poor Ronald just rolled his eyes and sighed in defeat. Ron's sister came out of nowhere and rubbed his back. She said in a soft, pitiful voice. ''Don't be so jealous Ronald, It's just a little crush that'd eventually go away with time''.

Ron turned red while Hermione suddenly choked on her own saliva. I was just amused.

''Ginny!?''.

''Yes dear brother''.

''Shut. up!''.

The red haired just giggled and turned to me. ''Oh hi Aurora!''.

''Ginny''. I smiled. ''How's it been?''.

''Ah ya know, it's been really lonely without my brothers, but it's fine now since am joining them this year!''.

Someone suddenly scoffed, making us all turn towards...

''Malfoy''. Ron called, bitterness evident in his tone.

''Hello Weasley, quiet unpleasant to see you too''. He sneered. ''I see nearly the whole flock's here today. By the way, I saw your mother taking free books from lockhart, I mean, am not surprised with how poor your family is, but I thought she'd have some dignity atleast, no need to rub her family's 'poor-ness' on our faces you know''.

Ron lunched at him angrily but Hermione and Ginny quickly held him back.

''Shut up Malfoy! You don't know anything!''. Ginny said angrily.

''Oh Weaslette, you are probably the only one that doesn't know anything here''.

''What do you mean?''. She frowned, confused.
