The ball II

''Holy shit''.

''Is that_oh my''.

''It's like a literal angel just fell from the sky''.

Both Christina and Susan were blushing red while Tracey had a dreamy look of her face. Daphne looked away to hide her red cheeks.

''You know him?''. I asked Susan, ignoring all the whispers and exciting mummerings.

Susan nodded. ''Who doesn't know about Lord Marvolo Emrys Le fay!?''.

''Clearly Aurora''. Christina chuckled. ''Don't you read the daily prophet?''.

''No one in my house does''. I answered, frowning. If what Griphook said was true, then he was my...oh Merlin.

''Too bad for you''. Tracey spoke, sighing. ''Not only is he devilishly handsome, but also very intelligent, powerful, and filthy rich''.

Daphne nodded in agreement. ''He has four seats in the Wizengarmot. Gaunt, Le fay, Emrys, and Slytherin, three of which everyone thought was null''.

''Wow, that's a lot''. I said quietly as the party continued. I couldn't help but notice how everyone was trying to catch his attention, the ladies especially. For some reason that pissed me off.

''The best part of it is that he's single''. Christina sighed happily.

'He better be'. I thought, staring at him. he had wavy dark brown hair, his almond eyes a beautiful light brown_almost golden, his skin pale, his...in short, he was a god

I closed my eyes, sighing contently, my magic responding to his naturally. When my eyes opened, they were met with curious brown ones.

My heart started beating faster.

He was walking towards us.

''Oh Merlin! Oh Merlin! He's coming this way!''. Christina whisper-yelled excitingly while shaking Susan. Tracey squealed, Daphne started fixing her dress and hair_though there was nothing there to fix_ and Susan had turned redder than her hair.

What interesting friends I had.

Just as Lord Le fay was getting closer to us, a lady came out of no where and stood in front of him. Instead of being annoyed, he easily conversed with her like they had known each other for a long time, before finally offering his hand to her for a dance. I frowned, annoyed.

''Geez, doesn't lady Clampitt know when to stay the fuck away''.

''Camplitt?''. Tracey snorted. It was a funny name indeed.

''Christina, watch your language''. Susan lightly scolded the girl. ''Besides..''. She continued. ''They might be lovers''.

I gave Susan a sharp look. ''Didn't Christina just say he was single?''.

''I said might. It has not been confirmed yet, but people suspect they are since lady Camplitt is the only lady lord Le fay seems to tolerate when she flirts with him''. Susan sighed. ''Few claimed to have seen the stoic man smile ever so slightly when he was around the lady, it's so annoying''. The other girls nodded in agreement.

I did not like the sound of that one bit. This lady Camplitt_I turned to stare at her. I must admit, she was really beautiful. She had golden blond hair, grey eyes, and an hour-glass form. I watch the two dance, staring into each others eyes like they were really in love.
