"Mase," Alina shook his arm while he was sleeping peacefully in bed. It was only three days ago since they came back from Qatar, and Alina had gotten much worse.
"Mase," she said a bit louder, feeling like she was about to throw up any minute.
"Mhm," he muttered, too tired to open his eyes.
"Fuck," Alina said, quickly getting out of bed to run to the bathroom. She kneeled down and threw up in the toilet, spitting out a bunch of blood at the same time.
Mason looked up at her as soon as he heard her throw up. He quickly got out of bed and ran over, removing her hair away from her face.
He looked down, seeing blood in the toilet. He felt his heart had stopped beating for a second, not comprehending what was happening or what he was seeing.
He kneeled down and looked at her as she had stopped throwing up. She was wiping the blood from her lips as she sat back down.
"Are you ok? What the hell is going on?" He finally asked.
"It hurts," Alina groaned in pain as she held her throat.
"Where, baby?" He looked at her with concern, she showed him with her hand on her throat where it was hurting. He removed her hand and looked at the area.
Her throat had swollen up massively, and the small lump had become bigger and more visible on her skin over the days.
"Does it hurt when I touch it?" Mason asked calmly, trying not to scare her when he touched the lump on her throat.
"Not on the outside," Alina said with a shaky voice; she was struggling to keep her eyes open, and she began feeling sweaty and dizzy.
"Ali, keep your eyes open, baby," Mason cupped her face in his palms, noticing how she was slowly losing consciousness.
"Mhm," she mumbled, slowly leaning towards him
"Are you going to pass out?" Mason asked in panic. Her head dropped causing his heart to beat faster than ever. He pulled her face up slightly and looked at her. Her eyes were closed, and it was obvious to him that she had passed out. Her whole body just shut down, making her heavier.
"Shit shit shit!" Mason panicked. He carefully laid her down, checking quickly if she was breathing. When he found the pulse, he quickly got up and grabbed his phone to call the ambulance.

"Is she ok!?" Debbie ran down the corridor of the hospital, with Lewis and Tony following behind.
"I don't know, they won't say anything," Mason stood up from his seat, hugging his mom tight.
Tony and Lewis joined the hug, just giving comfort to Mason, who had been feeling scared for the past hour.
It had been one hour since Alina had been taken into the hospital room, when she had arrived to the hospital, she was stable but not fully awake.
Mason wasn't allowed into the room, but he had told them about her neck pain and sore throat. After the doctors received that information, they told him to sit outside until they could examine her.
