* * THREE MONTHS LATER * *

Sadie and I are sitting on her bed, with the TV on. We're not actually watching though. We're just chatting, like usual.
"Ah, I've got a got one," I say, laughing. We're playing 'would you rather'. "Would you rather have no nose, or no feet?"
"Uhm," She laughs, "No feet? I could have pretend ones!"
"I'd probably do that too."
"My turn," She smiles, "Would you rather meet any famous person you wanted, or get as much money as you want?"
"Ooh... Meet any famous person."
"I'd probably do the other one. I could bribe the famous person to come and meet me with money!"
"What if they refused?"
"Well then...I'd have lots of money anyways!"
"Can I do another one?" Sadie asks.
"Sure, I have no more ideas."
"Okay. Would you rather," a pause, "spend a month alone with me, or a month alone with Danny?"
(Danny is my best friend)
"Oh that's a mean question," I say, "I don't know! Probably... You." I decide, just because if I said Danny she's be offended. To be honest I'd prefer to be with Danny, but oh well.
"Aw," she says, smiling, and touches her lips on mine.
"Love you Charles," she says.
"Love you too Sades," I reply.
I kiss her again, and and for a moment we sit staring into each others eyes for a bit. Her eyes are a beautiful brown, a deep, chocolate coloured brown.
My phone vibrates, interrupting the moment.
"Haha sorry," I laugh, picking it up.
A message from Liliana's phone.

Hi Charlie, just thought we'd tell you that Liliana's out if hospital next week! It would be lovely if you and your family could come round and see us when she's out since it's the holidays?
George

I smile, and switch off my phone, making a mental note to ring them when I get back home. She's getting out of hospital! That's such good news!
I would ring them right now, but I think Sadie has a slight grudge against them, after I abandoned her at the airport when I forgot to tell her I was staying another few days. Woops.
"Who was that?" She asks, resting her chin on my shoulder.
"Oh, the girl who sent that suicide notes family. You know, Liliana."
"Oh."
I put my phone screen down on the bed, and turn back to face my girlfriend.
"Charlie?"
"Yes?"
"Is that girl nice?"
Oh dear. Here comes the 'I love you so don't you dare go loving another girl'.
"She's alright," I reply, to keep her happy.
"Is she pretty?"
"Not as pretty as you," I smile. In truth, Lily is prettier, but I don't think that's what Sadie wants to hear.
"You're so sweet," she smiles, and pulls me to lie down with her.
I poke her belly, and she pokes me back. Soon we're in a poking war, and then it escalates and we're throwing pillows around, and rolling on the floor, laughing the whole way. I am enjoying myself, but Liliana keeps penetrating my mind. She's getting out of hospital!! I need to see her soon. I honestly think I need to. She'll be wanting to kill herself again, and I need to see she doesn't.
Finally the time comes for me to go home, and I hug Sadie goodbye, thank her parents, and step out the door. I run home, my mind focusing on calling the Wellford's.
I burst in through the front door, call a hurried "hi," to my parents in the living room, pull out my phone and dial the number.

"Hello?" I hear a voice say.
"Hi, it's Charlie," I say.
"Oh hello! It's George."
"That's great news about Lily!"
"I know! She's happy about it, but I think the depression is still in there though."
"She'll get over it, I'm sure."
"I hope she does. Anyway, have you asked your parents about coming over?" He sounds as excited as me!
"Not yet. Do you want to speak to them?"
"That would work."
"Okay, give me a minute."
I walk into the living room, and find my dad sitting in the sofa, watching TV.
"Dad?"
"Yes?"
"You know Liliana and her family? The ones I went to see in England?"
"Yep, vaguely."
"Well she's getting out of hospital next week, and they suggested we could go and visit?"
"Right..."
"Could you talk to her dad?"
"Okay then."
I hand him the phone, and sit next to him, to listen to the conversation.
"Hello?"
"Nice to speak to you, yes,"
"Oliver"
"Right."
"Okay."
"Right."
"Right."
"Right." Great vocabulary dad. Is he going to say anything else?
"Right." Nope. Obviously not.
"Sure." Ah, there we go.
"I'll have a look." He gets up and goes over to our calendar. That's a good sign.
"24th?"
"Okay... 27th?"
"Is that okay?"
"Yes."
"Thanks."
"Bye!"
He puts the phone down and smiles at me, sitting down.
"Are we going?" I ask.
"Leaving on the 27th, staying for ten days."
"Thanks so much!" I grin, hug him, then remember my mum. She might not be as happy. I go into the kitchen, and there she is, sure enough, making dinner.
"Mum?"
"Mm?"
"You know the family I went to see in England?"
"Yeah?"
"The girl is out of hospital next week, so we thought we could go and visit. Dad's arranged it for us to leave next week, staying for ten days."
"What?" She says, turning to me.
"We're going for ten days, next week."
"Why didn't you ask me before you arranged this?"
"Sorry, I-"
"Charlie Sellham, you should-"
"Els, don't blame him, it's fine," my dad intervenes, putting an arm round her.
"So it's fine? You're fine with this?"
"Yeah, they're nice people, I spoke with George, the dad, he's a good guy."
"That doesn't make it okay for you to go arranging things without planning it first? Where will we sleep? Have you thought about money?"
"It's all arranged. We're staying in a bed and breakfast nearby, Charlie's staying in their spare room, and all costs are fine, I checked."
"But you still-"
"Els just accept that we're going," dad says, smiling. Mum goes quiet. I love my dad sometimes, he has a way of persuading mum to do things she doesn't want to. I'm sure she'll like it once we get there.
"It'll be worth it,"I smile, hug them both, then go upstairs to my room. I look at my desk, and see a half finished English essay.
It's the holidays, I'll do it later.
I lie back on my bed, and grin. I'm going to see Liliana, Heather and George again! God have I missed them. I miss the evening lounging around in front of TV doing nothing, chatting with Liliana, the British accents...
"Dinner!" Mum calls down.
I sigh, and get up. I know I won't be able to think of anything else except Lily for the next few days.
Sadie is going to hate me.
