It had been quiet next few days, we didn't have another game until next week so everything calmed down for awhile. Hannah and I never spoke of what I saw on game day, it was like nothing had happened and everything was going back to normal. "Jordan do you know when the next game is?" Hannah suddenly asked, but my eyes were glued to the T.V , not looking away from a certain hockey boy on the screen. "Jordan..?" Hannah asked again, with clear concern in her tone. "What?!" I snapped out of my day dream very suddenly. "Did you even hear what I said..?" She asked with a confused/concerned expression. "Uhm...," I hesitated for a moment, I was then realizing I wasn't paying attention at all, and I had no memory of what Hannah had said.
She sighed, "Do you know when the next game is?" She repeated. "Oh, yes. It's on Saturday." I replied, trying to act as normal as possible, but we both knew something was still different and something wasn't right. "Jordan.. this is getting concerning. Are you sure your okay? You know it's okay if your still shaken up from bumping into Auston right?" I was silent for a moment, she always knew when something was wrong, and well she was right. I couldn't get him off my mind. I sighed. "Han I don't know what to do, I literally can't get him off my mind. I can't even think of hockey without thinking of him. It's never been like this before, how do I make it stop?" I vented.
I saw a smirk creep up on her face, making me instantly regret spilling everything. "I knew it, I knew it. Jordan, you need to talk to him! we wont be in Toronto forever, now's your chance!!" She exclaimed. I knew she had a point, and she knew she had a point too. "Okay, I'll text him." I gave in. She squealed excitedly, passing my phone to me. I searched through contacts, slowly swiping down, reaching my forgotten contacts. His name peered into my view, sending a shiver down my spine. "Okay, I can do this." I said in attempt to hype myself up. I hesitated, biting my lip. I looked over at Han for comfort, and she gave me and encouraging look. I pressed over his name, typing in the chat..
Jordyn Kade: Hey, I know this is kind of random and all, but I just wanted to apologize for leaving so quickly when we bumped into each other, I really needed to get to my game.
"Is this okay?" Han scanned over the text. "Yep that should be good, now send it!" She said in an excited tone. I pressed the send button and immediately turned my phone off, and that's when it hit me. What have I done..
Author note: Hey guys! I know it's been like a year lol. I'm gonna try and finish this.
