january 13th

yesterday had been a drag. honestly nothing exciting happened. Anthony had a sub in for my class, and my class only. which was weird but that's the only thing that was out of the ordinary for yesterday.

but today is Friday the 13th. my squad and I always get together on Friday the 13th, we walk around the mall, go to dinner, then have a sleepover at my place.

so after school Kayla, Jared, Dominic, Adam, Chuck, Emily, Sophia, and I all went to the mall.

yes it is awkward with jared there but I can't exclude him from our squad just because we broke up. can I?

after the mall we went to T.G.I.Friday's for dinner and then went to my house. all the guys and Sophia went to Chuck's room. me, Kayla, and Emily went to my room and just talked for a while.

we gave each other mani-pedis and played card games. then we just sat around doing pointless shit.

at about 11 pm I got a text message. in my lock screen I saw "lovey 😍 iMessage"

I quickly ran to the bathroom locking the door and then unlocking my phone. "lovey 😍" was Anthony...

"can you meet me at Dunkin Donuts in 20 minutes ? it's important." that was what his message read.

"I'll be there? is everything okay?" I replied.

I went back to my room to see my friends.

"guys I'm going for a Dunkin run. anybody want anything?" I asked.

"you should get a couple dozen donuts, so iced coffees and coolattas for everyone." Kayla said knowing our usual orders. I nodded and proceeded out of the room.

I knocked on chucks door to see if he wanted anything. jared opened the door... I lightly smiled at him not making eye contact.

"hey chuck I'm going to Dunkin Donuts did you or anybody want anything?"

"just some donuts and coffees." chuck said.

"okay I'll be back in a bit." I said walking away.

"who's car are you taking?" Chuck asked.

"yours." I said.

"no you're not." he spat.

"yes I am. you totaled mine while you were drunk off your ass." he quickly shut up after I said that.

after a 10 minute drive to get to the coffee shop I walked in scanning the room for Anthony.

he sat in a corner by himself nervously sipping his coffee. I walked to him and sat down.

"hey." I said.

"hey." he responded doing his nervous thing where he looks down and rubs his back.

"what're you nervous for?" I said with a smile hinting at my lips.

"wha-what? I'm I'm not nervous." he stuttered.

I chuckled and looked at his now blushing face.

"yes you are. you do that thing when you're nervous."

"you shouldn't know that yet." he laughed. "I've only known you for a few days.

my lips tightened as I looked into my lap.

"Anthony. your iced coffee is ready."

he got up to go get his coffee and when he came back he handed it to me.

"vanilla swirl iced coffee, that's what you get right?" he asked.

"yes, but you shouldn't know that yet. I've only known you for a few days." I mocked.

he laughed and we sat in silence for a bit.

"so umm... there is a reason I wanted you to come. I know it's late and I'm sure you had better plans but I really have to ask you a question."

"shoot." I said, seeing him do his nervous thing again. it was really cute when he did that.

"am-am I the only one?" he asked.

"I'm sorry?" I responded.

"is it just me? or is there...is there down thing between us? like a connection? like a connection that a student and teacher should not have..." he hurriedly said.

"well...um. it's definitely not just you." I said with a sigh.

he looked at me and his eyes lit up.

"you're beautiful." he said reaching over to stroke my cheek.

I blushed and smiled shying away.

"thank you." I said, shrinking back into my seat.

I went up to the counter to order the things for my friends and while I waited Anthony waited beside me.

"so uh..." he started.

"yeah?" I questioned meeting his gaze.

"was this our first date?" he asked in hope.

my eyes lit up and huge smile came across my face. I nodded and gathered the food and drinks.

he walked me out to my car and I put the things into my passenger seat. I closed the door and as I turned around I bumped into Anthony. he grabbed my waist and brought me close to him. I smiled and put my head down on his chest. we hugged for an eternity but when we parted we kind of stared into each other's eyes for what felt like another eternity, before he leaned down and kissed me. a very long and passionate kiss.

this is something i found strange lol. so I actually do have a crush on my teacher...hence this book. but anywhoo. on Friday he wore a Notre Dame sweatshirt. it's weird because I started this book at the beginning of the week and made the school in the book Notre Dame.
so haha I thought it was a strange coincidence and thought I'd share with y'all. but shh me liking my teacher thing... that's a secret. xx
