That morning, Clover woke up feeling more rested than she ever had felt in her life. She didn't know if it was because of the bed or because of the incredibly, surprisingly comfortable demon she was currently laying on. Her head was tucked under his chin and his arm lay over her waist and he had a tight grasp on her hip. She smiled a little. It was almost like he was afraid she would disappear in his sleep, never to return.

Clover shook her head. She figured she was reading too much into it and she didn't want to get her silent small hopes up in the first place. Gently she squirmed her way out of his grasp and stood up, stretching. Glancing around she saw the time and groaned softly, wondering why her body decided to wake her up. It was only seven in the morning. Gods I want to sleep more but I know my body won't let me.

She walked back to her room and sighed again, scratching at her head. She had no clothes to wear. Clover silently debated on whether or not she wanted to go to the market shops for some clothes; however when she thought about it, it wasn't like she actually had a choice. She couldn't walk around the mansion naked, though she suspected Braith wouldn't complain one bit.

Clover blushed at that thought, remembering last night. She wondered if they would have gone all the way had they not been interrupted. What she really couldn't believe was how sexy and bold he had made her feel. So bold in fact that she took charge and was following her own instinct on what to do. Gah I need to stop thinking about this! Her whole face felt like it was lit on fire and Clover decided she might need a little bit of a cold shower to help.

Hopping into the shower, she stood under the spray. The thoughts of them last night had her thinking about their interruption. Clover hadn't heard much but she got the gist of what had happened. Someone had attacked Braith's employee's and something had been stolen. A dark aura came about her the more she thought about it. The attacker was most likely someone vying for the position of Lord of the West. Someone who knew that if they took out Braith, their ambition would be secured. She needed to make sure he was protected, even without her around, and she knew just how to do that.

Climbing from the car, Clover readjusted her shirt and closed the door. She was back at the market, parked in a more secluded area than before. With what she was about to purchase, she couldn't afford anyone seeing. Looking around cautiously, she made her way through the market, heading toward that old hags shop once more.

Clover knew she was being too cautious, but in all honesty she couldn't afford not to be. Crystals were easy to hide. They were small and didn't have much energy so they could easily go undetected to those more sensitive to disruptions in an area's natural energetic flow. Bigger objects like artifacts or amulets were a different story. They possessed a unique magic flow that disrupted everything else around it.

"Welcome back sister." The old hag smiled at her, the pipe between her lips glistening in the candle lit shop. "What can I do for you?"

"I need to see a specific selection in the back. I need an amulet, one that will aid in protection and that I can imbue if necessary." She said and the hag chuckled, letting her come through to the back. She led her over to a glass case and pulled out a rack of gemstones on chains. It wasn't difficult for Clover to tell that they were all pure silver, which aided in their natural properties.

Clover closed her eyes as soft red light shone from her lashes and she whispered softly, "Ven a mi." Her palm began to tingle and feel warm as her power wove through the gems until she felt one settle in her palm. As the glow faded she opened them and was surprised to find that the gem in her palm was Black Jasper. It was thought to be a legend in witchcraft and it was especially useful in aiding against black conjurings like curses or harmful spells.
