Clover heard the sounds of battle even in the secluded hall she sat in. She knew that her plan had to be executed quickly and without hesitation. So now, Kaida was taking care of his men while Clover sat against the wall, taking in deep, calming breaths to try and stay awake. She was bleeding fast and by her estimates, she really should have been dead by now. She didn't know whether it was her pure stubbornness or something greater at work as to why she wasn't dead yet, but all in all she was thankful. If her plan didn't go as she wanted, she would be.

Kaida came out, her body splattered with blood not her own and a relieved smile on her face. "They are gone and I have the device secure, My lady. Please, let me heal you." She urged gently and Clover gave her a soft, sad smile.

"A small one, Kaida. I need the rest of your magic for my plan. Please, no matter what I tell you, you must be willing to help me. There is no other way." She felt tears pooling in the corners of her eyes. She had never thought she would fear death. Perhaps living as emotionless and numb as she had for so long had made her feel immune to death's capabilities of inspiring fear. But now that she was there at his door, now that she had something to lose, Clover couldn't help but fear leaving them all behind. The small group that had so quickly become her family.

"B-but my lady-!"

"Enough. Heal me enough to stop the bleeding. That's it." She snapped, growing impatient. Clover had felt Braith's sudden pain radiate through their link. She was running out of time.

Kaida looked at her, watching her silently. "Promise me, Clover Aria. Promise on your name here and now that you will not die!" She looked at her, surprised even as her vision tunneled and she struggled to maintain her consciousness.

Making a promise like that within the witches circle, it meant both would be branded and if the promise could not be fulfilled, both would suffer the consequences. So if she died, Kaida would die as well. Ugh...why is everyone being so stubborn?

Clover didn't have the strength left to put up a fight, so she gently clasped Kaida's pale hand in her bloody stained one and uttered the words that put a chain around their souls. "I, Clover Aria of the Clan of Aria, hereby promise to Kaida Indigo, that I will not die." She felt the binding take effect and she smirked in a rueful determination. Kaida gave her a satisfied nod.

Pressing her hands against Clover's abdomen, she spoke. "Sanas." Clover grunted at the pressure and the pain, feeling only the outside being repaired enough to stop her excessive bleeding and give her enough energy to move. Taking a deep breath, she slowly pushed herself up, using the wall as leverage.

"Okay, here is what I have planned..." Clover slowly explained her plan, watching Kaida's eyes widen in shock.

"B-but..th-that's suicide!" She said, turning as white as a ghost and clutching at her heart. Clover looked at her worriedly, hoping that she would help her. There was no going back. They were in a desperate situation, with the two who actually had a chance against Luca either drained or half-dead. This was their only option if they wanted to succeed. "I don't like it but...I will do it. I will do it for you my lady. But remember, you made me a promise and I will not let both of our lives end so foolishly. This will work."

Clover smirked and tapped her shoulder with her fist. "That's the spirit. Now, let's go kill my crazy cousin." Kaida chuckled, biting her lip.

"So what's first?"

"Put barriers around me. Top level ones. They must be as strong as possible." Clover took in a breath, trying to dictate how much magic she actually had left. There were the reserves she put barriers around, but other than that she didn't have much. "I will help as much as I can. Yours needs to be saved."
