As Jiwon slowly awoke, her body ached and begged her to move while her eyesight remained completely black behind her closed eyelids. After yawning for several minutes, Jiwon gradually opened her eyes, but she was greeted by total darkness. She groaned and tried to close her eyes again, but she had to get up.

'What am I doing here?' She questioned while her mental fog from waking up was clearing up. She responded to herself, "Oh."

She hoped no one came searching for her, but after taking a quick glance at her phone, she realized that most likely someone had. Jiwon made a stealthy dash to the washroom because it was too early for anyone to be awake, and she wanted to at least appear somewhat put together.

She could hear snores as she passed the section where the majority of the tenets slept, which made her feel a little more at ease.

Without any natural light, the bathroom had a weird appearance, and the blue lighting made it seem gloomy. It was also quite poorly lighted. The girl cautiously shut the door after entering since she didn't want to make a sound. Jiwon walked over to the sink and gripped its sides as soon as the door was shut, looking down to take a deep breath. The girl was growing weary of the situation, and these bizarre hallucination episodes did not help.

Because she had previously had a hallucination involving the monster, the girl turned her attention back to herself, expecting to see blood on her face and body. Instead, she was surprised to see nothing there. The lack of blood left the girl perplexed. She questioned whether nose bleeds were a common symptom of the hallucinations or if they were exclusive to that particular instance.

She cautiously leaned her face toward the mirror, but she was unable to detect any blood. Jiwon noticed the sun slowly rising over the horizon and the warmth of a typical Korean summer starting to permeate the washroom as she turned to look out the window. In an effort to let a little air out of her shirt, Jiwon clutched the collar of her tank top. She noticed blood on her fingers as she pulled her hands away from her collar. She touched her collar once again out of confusion, and again more blood stained her fingertips.

Jiwon wondered what was going on after recognizing that her collar was obviously covered with fresh blood. She did suffer a nosebleed when she fainted, but when she awoke, her face appeared spotless. Her face had been wiped of blood by someone. Who was it if not Hyunsoo, who is not able to leave the locked room? Who else was aware of her infection?

Her hands started to shake, and she tightened her hold on the sink as her mind raced with thoughts. Until the sun's rays illuminated her face, she remained engrossed in her thoughts.

She decided she could no longer hide in the washroom when she heard movement in the halls. She decided to speak to Hyunsoo and changed her expression back to one of neutrality. Due to the fact that he had kept her a secret, perhaps he could offer some useful advice in this situation.

She then turned around and bowed to Jisu who was entering the washroom.

She moved down the deserted halls toward the locked room where Hyunsoo was, but she was stopped in her tracks before she could even get there by Eunhyuk, who was going in the same direction.

She greeted him as she usually did, saying, "Good morning, Hyuk" to avoid raising any suspicion, but she could see by the look on his face that he was displeased with her.

"Where have you been?" His brows furrowed as he continued, "I was searching all over the floor for you."

She started to respond, "I was with Jaeheon," but the boy swiftly interrupted her.

'Don't lie to me, I asked him if he had seen you, and he said no. Where have you been?" He questioned as he drew nearer to the girl and held her forearm.

"All right, you got me. "I just wanted to be alone for a little while okay?" she replied with a smile. " Its exhausting being around people all day," she said, putting her hand on Eunhyuk's hand that was holding her forearm.

He sighed, glancing briefly at her hand before turning to face the girl.

"Fine. Next time, just let me know where you're going, okay?"

She laughed and remarked, "You got it!" making the boy slightly unhappy. She obviously didn't realize how much anguish she had just caused him.

Eunhyuk hastily let go of her forearm after seeing that his hand was beginning to perspire.

"I'm going to talk to Hyunsoo about going upstairs; come with me?" Eunhyuk asked.

Jiwon responded with a nod, "Okay."

The two then silently made their way to the locked room. Jiwon wondered if the two people behind the door were awake because there wasn't much noise. To allow Jiwon to enter first, Eunhyuk opened the door.

The strange man who had previously entered the first floor and was now seated in a corner caught Jiwon's attention. She turned and moved her lips closer to Eunhyuk's ear, prompting him to jump slightly in surprise, which went unobserved by the girl.

"Is he infected?" She inquired.

She tilted her head to hear him as Eunhyuk awkwardly turned to face her.

"I'm not sure," he states, whispering.

As he spoke, his lips brushed against her ear just enough to make her flush. She hurriedly nodded, trying not to look at him since she didn't want him to notice how flushed she was. As the old guy in the room approached the two, she quickly patted her face to cool it down.

He kindly said, "I'm really okay," evidently hoping to win the two over.

Eunhyuk went to Hyunsoo and started talking, completely ignoring the man.

"Cha Hyunsoo. We need to talk to you," he spoke, as the old man began talking nonsense.

Jiwon smiled as Hyunsoo stood up. He then followed the pair out of the room, only to be halted by the old man as he whispered something to the boy that the two couldn't hear. As Hyunsoo exited, Jiwon turned and locked the door before moving quickly to catch up to Hyunsoo and Eunhyuk. Both Hyunsoo and Eunhyuk remained to her right.

"It's vital that the front gate be properly barricaded, but it hasn't been" Eunhyuk stated "We only have wooden planks and chains blocking the stairs. Monsters could break in any moment."

When Eunhyuk stopped moving, the other two followed suit. He then put his hand on Jiwon's back and motioned for her to turn in the direction of Hyunsoo.

"Why do you think we took your side?" Hyunsoo looked between the two confused as Eunhyuk questioned him.
