I woke up after Diego coming into my room and waking me up for school. I heard the birds chirping,the sun beamed through the little crease of the window that wasn't covered by curtain. I rubbed my eyes with a groan out of exhaustion. I barely got any sleep last night.I didn't get to bed until 4am.I can't keep thinking about Marliyn and the situation she's in. She's already been through too much in life. I should've been the one who was taken.

While getting out of bed I got on my dark washed bell bottoms.And a random black plain shirt I found lying on the floor. And socks that didn't match and probably had holes in them. I got my pair of brown boots on and then walked out of my bedroom

Out there, I got greeted by Diego slouched in a chair at the dining room with his feet up on the table, reading the paper. Vanessa was repairing to toast some bread and I'm assuming alondra was already gone for school since her school starts earlier than mine

I say good morning to them all before walking into the bathroom. I close it shut with my back. I let out a yawn walking to the counter to brush my teeth. I stare up into the mirror. I started to think about Marliyn some more

I couldn't believe it. It felt just like last night she got taken by the grabber. I keep gaslighting myself Into thinking it was all a dream Marliyn's safe and away from the grabber it seems like it's all what I say.

And to think Marliyn could already be dead leaves a vacant feeling in my soul. When we ran away together I felt at peace with her, even though Diego wasn't keen about it I loved her.I love her.

I start thinking about the black van I chased down again and think I was so close to a opportunity of finding Marliyn. Just a week ago we were with friends, now I'm putting her missing flyer around town.

There was suddenly loud banging on the other side of the door. I jumped and wiped my tears from my face.

"Robin!, what the hell are you doing in there, your gonna be late for school!" It was Diego

"Yeah I'll be out in a sec!" I tried to hide my broken voice the best I could. Since I didn't have time I just gargled with listerine

On the walk to school was different. Hell everything felt different. I keep lashing out on Finn lately but he takes no offense to it because he knows that Marliyn being taken is being hard on me. Plus he knows she's also my cru-
