you gasped out loud making some people's attention turn to you. the team was currently in an important meeting, so when everybody turned around your ears turned red.
"sorry.." you quickly said, lowering your head down. "okay.. as i was saying.." the person holding the meeting said gaining everybody's attention back to him.
a smile instantly formed on your lips, acting like if your middle school crush just smiled at you. clicking on the instagram notification you were brought to the app.
the text he sent you made you almost want to get up from your seat and squeal. 'so adorable!' you thought while re- reading the message.

you patiently waited for his reply, bouncing one of your leg up and down. but, slowly that excitement started to slow down.
you have waited for a good five minutes for him to respond, soon those five minutes turned into fifteen and you just gave up.
if he was going to be one of those people who respond back in hours or days you weren't even going to bother.
"and let's end it with that!" the person giving the presentation clapped his hands together and the others stood up from their chairs.
getting up from the small couch that they had, you followed right behind the team. "that was the most boring presentation ever." kevin spoke quietly once you guys made it out the room. "i was near going to fall asleep." diego said besides kevin.
ever since that day you and diego has sex, you tried to act like nothing happened. you guys didn't act any different than how you guys already did. the only thing you noticed yourself doing more is staring at him a bit longer than you should.
every time he would take his shirt off, you try so hard to not stare. you even started cussing him out in your head calling him a 'whore.'
if he wasn't going to bring up what happened that night, then you weren't going to either. plus, it was probably a one time thing.
"let's take the elevator." you said as you walk towards the elevator. "but the stairs are right there, and it's literally just one floor difference.." diego said pointing at the stairs. "i wasn't talking to you, i was talking to kevin. go take the stairs if you want to."
