20. hot n young

"wake up!" you groaned rolling over the bed as the kids kept jumping on you. "give me 5 minutes.." you mumbled keeping your eyes shut.

"no! we're hungry!" with your eyes close, you shook diego's shoulder to wake him up. "levantate huevon, go make them something to eat."

you heard groans coming from him, "kick them out or something.." he trailed off going back to his sleep. you tried ignoring the little kids jumping on your bed as hard as you could.

their screams and whines going deaf in your ears till one of them stepped on your leg making you get up in a sitting position, groaning on how it hurt a bit."who was it?" you ask, rubbing your eyes.

"fue luz!" "na uh it was you!" you saw the 6 and 4 year old point fingers at each other. the bickering between the two always gave you a headache. "let's just eat some cereal.."

both scrambled out the bed, and once they left you laid back down. "diego wake up!" you shook him again.

this time he actually got up, but once he saw you laying back down he pushed your shoulder lightly too. "get up too then!"

"go make luz and gabriel some pancakes.." you said dozing back off, feeling the sleepiness come back to you till you heard barking coming from your room door.

knowing that you weren't going to ge the chance to sleep anymore, you pushed yourself out of bed and saw diego already walking out the door.

slipping your crocs on, you walked out the room with creed and fresitas behind you. "we want pancakes! we want pancakes!" the two kids chanted.

"if they come out burnt don't say nothing.." diego told them before taking out the flour and some other ingredients.

you sat next to the kids on the table, they went back to staring at their tablet watching bluey. this was the calmest they ever were, and you didn't want to sound mean when you asked them-

"so.. when is your dad going to pick y'all up?" you asked luz the oldest. "i dont know." she responds not looking away from her show.

diego's older brother had left his kids at your house for two days, cause of something he had to do. "he said he would be here today.." diego said, a side smile forming on his lips.

you knew he was up to something..
