as soon as you stepped out the limo, the flashing of the cameras blinded your eyes, but just for a second before you got used it.
"y/n look over here!" you waved at the reporters and fans who were waiting outside the venue. but the screams grew louder once everybody stepped out the limo.
"can we get a picture with just the three of you?!" someone yelled pointing towards you, diego and kevin. the three of you scoot in together, you in the middle while both of them were on your side.
as the camaras were flashing, diego's hand managed to slide over your back, you flinched bring surprised by the touch. you side eyed him, and he just looked up ahead like if he wasn't doing something out of the usual.
putting on the fakest smile you could, you tried to calm your heart that started beating a bit faster than it should.
his hand played with your bare back sending you chills down your spine. after what felt like eternity, one of the guides had finally come. you thought that diego's hand would retrieve back, but they stayed on through out the way inside the big venue.
"diego let go, people might get the wrong idea." you suggested, the tip of your ears bright red. "hmm, but dont you think we'll make a cute couple?" he tried giving you a smile.
you didn't answer back to him, a bit flustered you turned around feeling your face heat up. without you noticing, diego noticed how bright red your ears were and let out a chuckle.
before you ever came back from the u.s. he never thought much of you but a model. but now that you were here, he started to notice the small details about you.
ever since that night at your house, he started looking at you differently. and when you suddenly started spending your time talking to joao instead of arguing with him, it kind of saddened him.
he knew joao is here tonight, and diego was going to try his hardest to keep you all to himself today. no way was he about to let you be with a guy you dont know all night.
the others who were right behind you, were so confused on how you guys were suddenly close. oh, and kevin was clueless.
"i haven't heard then argue in days.. i knew something was off this week." chucky said eyeing the two of you. "are they perhaps.." all of them look at each other for a second before, "nah!" they laugh it off shaking their heads.
"they probably just made up! the good days are coming!" your dad said smiling. "this way!" the guide guided you to your table.
about to pull your chair, diego removes his hand from your back and pulls the chair for you. seeing him be so kind to you was.. different.
you silently thank him as you take a seat. diego takes the seat beside you, whatever was happening felt so unreal because, you would of been throwing hands with him right now.
