She was sad that her comrades had done something so reckless.
Firing on the first vessel they saw without consulting her.
Why would they put missiles on the ship at all? They weren't in the schematics or plans for it.
The only weapons were to be for obstacle defense, yet they ignored her and installed offensive weapon systems.
She sighed.
"Would you like something to eat?"
A voice asked from the door.
"Нет."
"I know that you are hungry."
"Нет!"
"Alright. I'll come back by a little later. If you change your mind, push this button."
"Wait. Am hungry. I am sorry."
"There's no need to apologize. You're not in any trouble or danger."
"When am I to be going home?"
"You'll be returning with the champion who brought you here."
"Why!? Why did he rescue me?"
"The ship's computer rescued you after damaging the Texas (Texac) in defense."
"What is your name?"
"I'm Alézhaí, lead sentinel commander of this building."
"You look like a child compared to others."
"Well. I am a child."
"How are you a commander?"
"Were you, yourself, not selected as a commander?
You're only ten years old. I'm ninety eight.
We are, physically, the same age. That's why I selected you as champion."
"You were my sponsor?"
"Yes."
"My crew failed me."
"Were they chosen for you?"
She nodded.
"Then you are not at fault. You won't receive the reward that the American champion will.
However, before you leave, you'll be given the choice of becoming a Lynark as well.
Níqö gave his consent before leaving this universe.
We are all aware of how politically corrupt Russia is.
They'll try to kill you when you return.
As a Lynark, even in human form, you'll survive.
Should they try to kill you, William will know instantly."
"William is going to stop them?"
"He has become, not just a Lynark Savant. He's a legendary white light.
You'll understand when you see him.
They are the elite among all Savants.
This has baffled everyone. A few are jealous that it was an Earth human who came to be a white light Savant.
Specifically, those living on Lún'Férr.
None of us mind, though. He's a pure soul with nothing but generosity and love in his heart."
"What about Níqö?"
"He's still a pure soul, but one who has suffered too greatly.
He has no love, or hatred for people.
Not even for hisself.
He's as neutral and cold as the color gray.
I say that, but William cracked him."
"What do you mean?"
"William hugged Níqö out of sheer happiness when he returned to verify the existence of a Savant.
Níqö felt pure love of family from William.
A love that includes Níqö.
When he left again, the light coming off of him was crimson with hints of blue.
He left with the promise that he'd come if William called out his name."
"No one is so pure. Humans are corrupt by nature."
"See for yourself when he returns."
"Where is he?"
"Claiming his reward as champion. He's going to eat the stone of Lún'Râ."
