"Takemichi, over here~!" Hinata called over, happily waving to help me see through all the crowds of people. It was Christmas break, I had nothing to do yet in this time, no saving or preventing anything yet. Well, there's still the incident that will occur with the Shiba family. But today is just another day with no deaths. It's just a...normal day..
I went towards her and saw other people with her. "Took you a while to arrive." Said Draken-kun, "Hehe...sorry, something just came up..." I apologized, grinning nervously. "Hey, Draken-kun, don't be mad to Takemitchy. It's better late than never~!" Mikey-kun then told Draken while eating his doriyaki.
I put my potluck on the picnic table and seeing a lot of delicious foods made me drool. "It smells so good..-" Suddenly a cat jumped on the table. "Gah!-" I blurted then someone appeared beside me and grabbed the cat with care.
"Noooo, you stay here." It was Chifuyu.
"You have a new pet?" I asked, my terrified feeling was gone so I gently pet the cat. "Nah, she just found me and now she owns me." Replied him, grinning while playfully petting the cat.
'Does every cat owner really have that mindset that cats are superiors over them!?' I wasn't sure about that, but I'll let him be.
"So partner, why are you late?" Chifuyu then asked another question to keep the conversation going.
I stayed silent for a second.
'Why was I late again...?' .

~•Earlier that day•~
'I just woke up from my sleep and I forgot today is our Christmas party!' I grabbed my wallet and went to the nearest mall to buy some food since I got no time to make my own. I ran as fast I can, trying to find something everyone can eat. . . 'Sushi!' . . I walked towards the sushi market and ordered the biggest set on the menu-nevermind, it cost a lot so I bought the medium-sized ones.
"Now I gotta hurry... I'm super late!" I muttered and scrammed out of the store in hopes that they(some toman members) won't be too mad or beat me to death for not being there on time. But just as I was about to go to the pedestrian lane, the light turned red.
"Crud!... They're gonna kill me.."
"Who's gonna kill you?" Suddenly a voice scared the heck out of me. I looked to see who he was, but he did not seem familiar. The guy was quite tall and the thing that interest me the most was his scar on his face.
"Uhh...sorry but, have we met before..?"
I was expecting a polite explanation but in return, he just gave a disappointed face and uttered something I couldn't hear. "I don't think you remember me, but I remember you." He said as we both noticed the pedestrian light turned green.
"But I'll tell you another time when we meet again. I have to get back to my boss." The guy then smiled.
'When we meet again..?' I was left confused as he then greeted me a Merry Christmas and waved goodbye. I wanted to know more on what just happened with our interaction, but I shook it off and hurriedly walked across the pedestrian lane. .

~•Present•~
"...and I had a lot of ups and downs while going here, but if I just...woke up early, none of this would've happened." I lied to Chifuyu, not including the part where I met a person that maybe knows me and I don't.
"Well, at least you're not the last. Mitsuya had to wait for his younger sisters to dress up."
Chifuyu informed while I looked at the three siblings. So adorable!
Mikey then grabbed everyone's attention and everyone gathered around the table full with food. "I can't wait to taste everything, so what are we waiting for? Itadakimasu~!!
"Itadakimasu!" Excitedly exclaimed everyone as we dig in.
I never had this much of a celebration before. And also celebrating with my childhood friends, Makoto, Yamagashi, Takuya, and Akkun was blast for once. No one beating us or bullying us just cause we're weak. I am glad that I get to spend time with Hina, even for just a day or two. Her warm smile and her comfort heals me. And when she's always there for me, physically and mentally, it completes me.
I looked at the Toman gang, Emma-chan and Hina with her brother, Naoto, having fun. Singing some jolly Christmas songs. Mikey being childish as always. And the memories of when Baji-san was still alive still stayed with Toman.
