Shortie in Love

Chapter 1

The Beginning

Allie POV
I awoke by the sound of my alarm. I check the time and it's 6 am, the right time to wake up and get ready for school. I start by stretching my body and taking a deep breath before finally waking up from my bed to get ready for school that I hate so much.

You might think it's just normal teenage behavior but you should try being a 4'10"/149 cm girl in a school with a height average of 5'5/165 cm. I'm not pretty, smart, or athletic. I'm also very shy, that's why I cover my face with my hair most of the time. But almost everyone in my school knows me, NOT as Allie but as Shortie. Everyone calls me Shortie, even people I don't know. It all started because of Jacob, my bully. He always shouts "Shortie is here" and puts "I need more milk" paper behind my back without me knowing.

Jacob is a typical popular boy at school. He is good at football, basketball, swimming, and anything sporty. He has dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a strong jaw. I think he's around 6 ft/185 cm, and I'm pretty sure his father is rich or something.

So go back to right now. I use simple jeans and a green heart jumper with my favorite brown backpack for school today. I come out of my room, eat a toast my mom makes, and say goodbye to my mom and dad.

I reach school at 7.15 am, then take my stuff out of my locker. Unlucky for me, Jacob and his friend saw me and shout "Shortie is Here" and then continue to laugh. I blush so badly and ran to my class.

"Are you okay? Your face is so red" asks Cole.
"I... I'm okay, I just ran here" I answered with an awkward smile.
"Okay, if you say so" he smiles and walks to his seat.

So Cole is my class president, and also my crush. He got blond hair with green eyes, smart, athletic, and kind. His height is around 5'10"/178 cm and he also has a sleeper body, which everyone knows after that one time his sports uniform rips during PE.

"You look really ugly when you smile Shortie," says Jacob. I immediately stop my smile and glance at him.
"Please leave me alone Jacob" I mumble
"What did you say shortie? You can't say things clearly huh? Just like a baby! Gugu gaga do you understand me now?" Said Jacob. I stop glancing at him and keep my head down praying the teacher would come.
"Sit now Jacob, and take off your hat," said Mr. Roger when he walk into the classroom. Jacob listens to Mr. Roger and sits with his friends.

It's going to be a long day...
