Chapter 6

Saturday

Allie POV

~ Saturday ~
It's finally Saturday. I'm getting ready to work on our group project. I put on a white shirt, a blue checkered vest, and flare jeans. I use white sneakers and my sling bag because I don't have to bring anything except for my phone and wallet.

I took the bus and go to Jacob's address. Suddenly my phone is buzzing and it's a chat from Cole in the group saying that he's going to be around 10 minutes late. My heart race, so I'm going to be alone with Jacob for 10 minutes. It's going to be alright right? I never had a normal conversation with him tho. I was lost in my thoughts until I arrived at Jacob's house. His house is huge, the maid let me in and I wait in the living room.

I was looking at my phone when I heard steps toward me. I looked up and saw Jacob. He raise his hand to sign me to come with him. I immediately follow him like a chick and its mother hen. We walk without having conversation while I just look around mesmerized by all the chandelier and the interior. I almost collide with Jacob When he suddenly stop, I successfully evade the danger but I looked stupid when try to balance myself with my hand and one foot in the air.
"What are you doing?" Ask Jacob
"Nothing" I answered while acting like nothing happened.
"Let's go and just get it done" Jacob said frowning.

I walk inside the room. I think it's Jacob room. The room is mostly gray and black colour with a little bit white accent. Looks elegant I must say. We sat on the sofa.
"So, have you done your research?" I ask Jacob
"Yes, of course Shorty. I think a dwarf house is unique. And since we had a real sized dwarf here, I think it will be perfect" Jacob answered
"Emm... but the "dwarf" house you suggested is like a normal house but with a shorter furniture."
"And?" Jacob started getting annoyed
"I think we should have unique building like a solar panel for electricity or things like that" I said
"People have seen and heard that for a long time, dwarf"
"Dwarf house might not look cool because you've seen your house everyday "
"My house isn't like that"
"Yeah yeah yeah, say anything you want, midget" Jacob said annoyed

I was taken aback with the nickname he gave me. I felt tears welling on my eyes. I pinch my thigh to stop the tears but it doesn't work. My heart really aching. I decided to excuse myself to the toilet. I ran searching for toilet but instead, I arrived at the entrance. I can't hold my tears anymore. I get out of the house and searching for a place to hide. I cried for a long time. I tried to stop but my eyes still looked like waterfalls.

What I have feared is happening.

Sorry I haven't been posting, I've been busy with my job. I also felt lethargic most of the time. In this chapter Allie got hurt by what Jacob said and ran. I'm so sorry if I offend anybody in all of my chapters. I didn't mean anything but please let me know if I hurt anybody.
