Chapter five

„She'll come out eventually"

They were wrong. She hasn't come out of her room for about two days now, the only time she would Exit her room would be to eat something. She opened her room door, walking down the kitchen, searching for somethings eat and drink. Her peace was soon destroyed as she felt a hand on her shoulder, turning around she was met with an unfamiliar face.

Y/n pov.

I was met with an unfamiliar face. He had broad shoulders, black hair and sharp facial features. „Hey there sweetheart" he smiled as he let go of my shoulder. Seeing his smile made me smile a little too, I continued doing what I was doing until I've been Interrupted once again. By another voice, the person entered the kitchen and I was met with a rather tall guy, he also had black hair and a more puppy like aura. They can't be trusted Y/n...you don't know exactly what they are or what they're capable of.. I said to myself as I broke eye contact, grabbing my plate and walking  out of the kitchen.

„Princess" I heard the familiar voice say, I turned around and looked at Mingi. I still can't wrap my head around him being a real person...a dead one..that I talked to.
„Can I talk to you?" he asks, the girl nod and led him to the back yard. „I'm going to explain everything to you. It might sound surreal or stupid to you" He said as he held onto my hand, I looked at him in confusion, taking my hand away from him.

Mingi Pov

I looked into her eyes, they told me to go on and so I did. „We both met last night. When you and your two friends played with the ouija board. I decided to talk to you, because well...I was and still am interested in you. You met Seonghwa shortly after me and then you met Yeosang. Now you'll meet the other four guys, if you've got more questions then ask me or the others" I stopped talking as I told her almost everything. Hongjoong will be explain even more than me..all that I want right now is her to not be scared of us.

To not be scared of me. Not now.

Author Pov.

Mingi led the girl into the living room, they all looked at the entrance and immediately fixated thier eyes on the girl. She gulped and sat down on a chair. „How much did you tell her?" Hongjoong asked Mingi "not much..go ahead"
Hongjoong looked at the confused girl Infront of him. "Alright. I'll make it quick. We're demons, our father is Hades, god and ruler of the underworld. your now ex boyfriends grandfather made a deal with us in the past, we've been stuck here for the past years, because of that deal. His grandfather wanted immortality, he eventually got it but we have his soul.
However...our father, the devil didn't want a human to have immortality and killed him off, along with your ex's father when he was around 45."
Y/n looked at them like they were crazy.

"You have to be kidding me, there's no way that this is a real story. You're telling me, you eight are literal demons and your father is hades?.." She puts everything together as she looks at the guy who just told her everything.
„That's pretty much what he said you dumb-" San started but got stopped by Wooyoung covering his mouth. "It is real Y/n."
Mingi said as he goes to grab her hand, she looks at him..fear. She stands up and walks towards the stairs, not believing what she just heard.

Mingi was about to get up from the sofa but Yunho held him down. „Seonghwa will talk to her.." Mingi nod and stayed on the sofa, Seonghwa stood up and made his way to Y/n.
„Y/n!wait" he started to say,  she stopped walking and looked at Seonghwa. „Okay listen...I know you're scared and you can't really believe this now. I can assure you...I'm not going to hurt you, the others are not going to hurt you either." He said as he slowly and gently grabbed her hands in his. She only nod and sighed.

Y/n pov

Why do I suddenly feel so relaxed?...Seonghwa makes me feel somewhat calm.. I'm still surprised and scared of the fact that I'm surrounded by demons, this still can't be real. This must be a huge act they're putting on.
„This doesn't make any sense! How come you are ‚demons', how come Mingi is sitting right there when he's just some spirit that I talked to last night! How are you guys just here!?"
I yelled as I broke down in tears out of frustration. I could see the others walking towards us as they heard the yelling.

I felt Seonghwa pull me into a hug, it felt strange to hug someone you though was a human being. I didn't pull away from the hug though, it gave me comfort..comfort that I needed after everything that happened today.

„It's alright..it's alright.How about you'll go to sleep?" Seonghwa suggested and I nod, I said good night to the guys and walked upstairs, getting ready for bed.

Author Pov

„Seonghwa, mind explaining why you hugged her?" Mingi started, he's always been a very jealous type, which everyone knew. „She needed the hug, that's why I hugged her and don't act like you two are dating because you clearly aren't" He said and went to his own room in the house.

„If you want I could give her a little scare so she runs to you tonight" Yunho whispered into Mingi's ear as he wiggled his eyebrows. Mingi listened to his best friends idea and went along with it. „Do whatever you want just don't touch her inappropriately. Or I'll kill you."
He said and went back to the living room, Yunho nod and smiled, waiting for the girl to fall asleep so he can start haunting her.
