Chapter Twenty-Two

"Y/n, this is kind of a warning to you. Seonghwa can't control his anger well, if he does anything then please come to us." Yunho said as he squat down in front of her. She looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "We'll be alright..I'm sure" Y/n stood up and walked upstairs towards her room, deciding to read something to kill time.

8 p.m.

"Y/n come on, eat something" San said and entered her room, placing a bowl of pasta on her night stand. She was curled up in her bed, blanket up to her nose. "I don't want to..." She mumbled and pulled the blanket over her head. San sighed and sat down on the bed, his hand gently pulling the blanket away from her face. "There you are darling, eat please" San put a strand of hair behind her ear and stood up again. Y/n sat up and grabbed the bowl, starting to eat the food in it.

"I'm worried San, what if he won't come back? It's been hours" she mumbled and took another bite. San looked at the ground and sighed.
"He'll be back..but once he's back I'll talk to him first." San said and looked at her, she looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "Talk to hi-" They heard the front door open, San left the room and ran downstairs. Y/n quickly put her bowl down and ran downstairs too, witnessing San yelling at Seonghwa.

"Where have you been!? Do you that you've hurt her!?" San yelled at Seonghwa, who was just staring him down. "Are you done?" Seonghwa asked, clearly annoyed. "I'm back now, stop yellin-"
"You're such an idiot! She's been lying in her bed for hours, just waiting for you to come back and you show up here as if it were nothing!?" San yelled as he pushed seonghwa into the wall. Seonghwa groaned at the impact and pushed San away immediately "You behave as if she's YOUR girlfriend." Seonghwa yelled back.

Y/n wanted to interfere, she wanted to go up to seonghwa and hug him, but Yunho held her back. "Yunho let me go to him" Y/n yelled."y/n it's dangerous. Go upstairs please" Yunho said and Mingi took her and brought her upstairs into her room. "Mingi I need-" "no. You're safe here, once Seonghwa's anger Takes the best of him, not only san will be in danger but you will be too." Mingi pulled her into his chest and hugged her tight. If only you could be mine.

Downstairs

"Because I care about her! Unlike you!" San and Seonghwa were full in yelling at each other. Seonghwa's eyes turned dark, anger was taking over him. "San. She's mine and you better back off or else I won't hesitate and kill You." Seonghwa grabbed San by his collar and pushed him up against a wall. Wooyoung and Jongho stood up and pulled on Seonghwa's arms. "Dude! Let go!" Jongho yelled, being thrown away by Seonghwa. Wooyoung rushed to his younger brother "shit- Jongho! Come on you're hades's son."

Seonghwa punched San into the face "stay out of my girlfriends and my life alright. You think I don't notice you continuously flirting with her?" San opened his mouth to say something but Seonghwa didn't give him a chance, he punched him once again.
"You're weak. You've gotten so weak ever since you attached yourself to her. SHE IS MINE AND NOT YOURS GOT IT?!" Seonghwa threw him against the front door, San fell down onto the ground coughing up blood.

"Fuck.." San muttered. "I won't give up on her Seonghwa. I know you're acting nice right now but I also know that you'll kill her eventually" San slowly stood up and connected his eyes with Seonghwa's.

"Y/n- come back!" They heard Mingi yell and soon enough a female figure ran down the stairs. There she stood, pure shock all over her face. "Seonghwa.." her voice came out as a whisper, Seonghwa turned around. His eyes still pitch blank and his hands balled into fists.
He walked towards her, Y/n's eyes teared up "you're back.." she muttered in between sobs. Seonghwa stood in front of her and aggressively grabbed her by her neck and kissed her. Her eyes widen by the sudden cut off of air. Her hands wrapped around his wrists, slapping them so he'd let go.

San's eyes widen. "YOU MORON LET HER GO!" San yelled and ran towards them, only to be thrown away by some force. "He's getting stronger? How-" San mumbled as he slowly got up again. "He's taking her souls- shit!" Yunho grabbed the nearest object and threw it against Seonghwa's head, making him drop the girl. Y/n fell to the ground breathing heavily. San rushed to her and pulled her close "stay here, we'll handle this"

San got up once again and took off to find Mingi. "Mingi! Give me your dagger" San demanded and Mingi quickly threw it to him. "What's going on?" Mingi asked which made San stop in his tracks. "Im killing Seonghwa. He's hurting Y/n"

San rushed downstairs, Y/n was still lying on the floor, seonghwa standing steadily. He was making his was towards the weak girl, ready to finish her off, he grabbed her roughly by her arm. "I know I said I wouldn't hurt you but you were too naïve to trust me Princess"
His eyes narrowed and fear started to fill y/n's body.

"Never!" San yelled making Seonghwa turn around, Seonghwa let the girl as he felt the sharp pain through his chest. He looked down onto his chest and then upwards to San. He dropped to his knees, pulling the dagger out and looking at San. Seonghwa was filled with betrayal as he saw San having a proud smile on his face. "You deserved this." San muttered shortly before Seonghwa dropped dead onto the ground.

San ran to the girl "y/n hey..you're safe. You're with me okay I-" San was abruptly stopped when Y/n hugged him. His arms found their way around her waist, pulling her close.
"Thank you, so much.." she sobbed.

"You two can continue this later WE have to get Seonghwa out of here." Jongho said and pulled San away from Y/n.
