Unexpected love

What a day

Alessia POV:
The gym session this morning was very hands on, we done bits of everything just to test out the equipment and get our heart rates pumping. There was a few times during the session were I would look over at millie working out. She looks hot when she works out and sweats. It's weird, I've seen her work out and sweat so many times over the years but never really taken much notice like the way I am now. Maybe I do have a crush on her

We've trained on the pitch for a few hours, doing a lot of shootouts and passing exercises. It's nice and warm today which I think lifted everyone's moods up even more. It's now lunch and I'm heading to the canteen when I hear my name being called.

Millie POV:
I enjoyed this mornings workout a lot. It was nice to be back in the gym with the girls and the fact I kept spotting Alessia staring as well gave me a few butterflies in my stomach. Maybe she does like me?
Training on the pitch was fun too, me and Rach were keeping everyone entertained with our jokes as usual.
The first half of training has finished and it's time to head to the canteen for lunch. I see Alessia walking ahead in front of me and decide to catch up and walk with her

Millie: Hey Alessia, wait up

Alessia: Hey millie, you okay? How did you find that first half

Millie: yeah it was fun, I'm looking forward to the practice matches after lunch.

We found out today the first team we're playing against In the group stages is Austria. They're a good team, we've got to train hard and go out onto the pitch and do what we do best.

Alessia: yeah me too, my team are gonna beat your ass *laughing*

Millie: yeah whatever, you know I've got a mean tackle on me *smiles*

After I said that, Alessia just looked at me and smiled, she's got really beautiful blue eyes. How comes I never noticed them before

Millie: you've got really beautiful eyes you know that

Alessia: *blushing* haha thank you

Alessia POV:
We've sat down for lunch and the compliment millie said about my eyes just replays in my head. She's made me blush more these past two days than I have in a really long time

It's now after lunch and we're getting ready for some practice games. These are my favourite, they really brings everyone's strengths out.
I'm running down the pitch and Tooney crosses the ball over to me and I'm heading towards the goal millie is defending, when all of a sudden I land flat on the floor.

Millie: omg less, I did not mean to do that so hard I'm so sorry! are you okay??!

I roll over on to my back and laugh

Alessia: yeah I'm okay just help me up

She puts her hand down to help me up and smiles

Millie: your tough, I like that

The match finished 1-0 to my team with Georgia scoring the goal. I mean I did tell Millie we was going to win
The day is coming to an end and we're sitting down for dinner. Millie is sat on the other side of the table chatting with Rachel, Millie T, Leah and Mary. And I'm sat with Tooney, Georgia, Katie and Lotte.

Ella POV:
Today has been amazing, that feeling I get running around on the pitch with the girls is indescribable and I can't wait to get out there and beat Austria's arse!
I also noticed a few looks being exchanged between Alessia and Millie today and it makes me think maybe there is something they're both feeling.

Me and Less head up to get our food which means now is the perfect opportunity to speak to her

Ella: so how you feeling about Millie today after our conversation this morning

Alessia: she's made a few I guess you could say flirty comments or compliments to me today but I don't know if she's just being nice or she feels something too. It's driving me crazy because it's all I can think about

Ella: if you like her why not say something

Alessia: because I don't want to ruin our friendship and make the rest of our time at camp awkward.

I understand what Alessia is saying, she doesn't like confrontation or conflict so she will do her best to avoid it. I just don't want this to bother her and eat her up if she continues to overthink it.

Alessia POV:
After dinner everyone hung out in the games room for a bit before heading up to their rooms ready to start again tomorrow.
I hop in the shower and think about the day. Thinking about everything, makes me realise maybe I do want Millie to like me.

After my shower I get dressed and climb into bed, I feel so overwhelmed being here, I know I will settle properly in a few days but everything with Millie is still playing on my mind. What if I admitted to her I liked her and get completely rejected and she asks to move rooms because I've made her uncomfortable. As positive as I am, I tend to think the worst in some situations. My eyes begin to water. Oh shit I really don't want to cry in front of Millie.

Millie is laying on her bed watching tv when she looks over at me. She must have noticed my eyes watering and she got up and sat next to me in my bed. She puts her arm round me and tilts my head to look at her.

Millie: hey, what's wrong?

I don't want to tell her everything that's bothering me incase I get rejected so I just brush it off and say

Alessia: just feeling overwhelmed being here that's all

Millie: yeah that's completely understandable, it's your first long camp, you're going to feel homesick but you'll settle in better soon. I'm here if you need me, if you start feeling overwhelmed just tell me and we can come chill up here or go for a walk or something.

Her saying that made me happy. Knowing she would look after me if I'm feeling down makes me feel warm inside. I look into her eyes and smile

Alessia: I really appreciate that thank you

She gives me a big hug and smiles

Millie: I'll even let you make tiktoks with me to cheer you up

I laugh, she always has a way of making everyone smile if they're feeling down. I'd say it's one of her best qualities

I stare at her a smile, she stares back also smiling. I feel myself gravitating towards her and It almost looks like she's doing the same.
Our faces become inches apart, still staring into eachothers eyes. I'm feeling tingly all over, butterflies in my stomach! Maybe she does like me! Or does she feel like she has to kiss me because of how close we are right now. I go to move away and she grabs my arm and puts it round her waist. So softly she places a kiss on my lips which sends fireworks through my body. My lips respond and kiss her back. She deepens the kiss and I moan into her mouth. This has got to be the most perfect kiss I've ever had.
After a few moments we pull away

Millie: Wow!

Alessia: Wow indeed!
