20th july
Millie POV:
It's been just over a week since the England v Norway game! And what a week it's been.
We won 5-0 against Northern Ireland, with lessi scoring 2 goals. Incredibly proud of her!, she's definitely come out her shell more, not only on the pitch but in general with the team mates.
As for our relationship, well let's say, it couldn't be going better. Everyone has been incredibly supportive which has just made us feel on top of the moon. One thing is, I haven't made her my official girlfriend yet,but I've got a few plans in the making.

We travelled back to brighton yesterday for the spain game today and everyone is feeling positive. We're currently on the coach driving to the stadium, less is sat next to me with her headphones on, she likes to get in the zone which I find incredibly cute.
We've got the speaker on at the back and we're all feeling excited for the game. Now that it's the knockouts Ofcourse we're feeling nervous but confidence is key!

The lineup is the same, which none of us are complaining about, sarina has been doing such a good job with everything, no one disapproves of her choices. We know what our roles are, we've just got to go out and smash it!

Alessia POV:
Today I'm feeling slightly nervous for the first time in a while. I think now it's knockouts, anything can happen! I 100% believe we have the strength and skill to win today but I guess there will always be that little worry.

I think Millie can tell something is on my mind, she knows I get a little anxious before games so she grabs my hands and intertwines it with hers, giving me a kiss on the cheek and a smile.
Everyday I wake up feeling lucky to have Millie, I mean who wouldn't.

We arrive at the Amex stadium, cameras flashing and fans cheering as we walk inside. It's quite overwhelming at times because where we've shut ourselfs into our own bubble and haven't been on social media, we've not really seen how big this tournament has become. But wow it's an incredible feeling knowing that woman's football is moving forwards!

Commentators:
The time has come, we are back at the Amex stadium in brighton once again and for possibly the biggest match yet. Here we are, now into the knock out stages of the Euros! Is it going to be England or Spain?!

5th minute: Bronze picks up a loose ball and sets off down the right-hand touchline. She's got Mead in support, but Spain get back in cover well and Carmona comes up with the ball.

7th minute: Daly is trapped under pressure from Cardona, and is forced into conceding a corner, Spain's first of the match.

8th minute: CHANCE!!! The corner causes chaos in the England box as Guijarro heads it back towards goal. Cardona is unmarked at the back post, but can't direct the volley on target!

37th minute: BALL IN THE NET!!! There's a scramble in the box as Hemp swings in the free-kick, and the loose ball bounces up to White, who prods it home!! The flag's up though, and White appears to know she was offside, so the goal will not count! That was England's first real attacking chance, and despite the flag going up, it's really fired up this Brighton crowd!

It's been a slow start to the game, England and Spain have had a few opportunities but they keep closing eachother down! This is definitely going to be a close game!

45 min: spain yellow card
HALF TIME

Millie POV:
It's half time, score is 0-0. This is definitely our most challenged game yet but I mean spain are amazing so we expected this.

Commentators:
Welcome back to the second half, it's 0-0 and has been a tough start for both sides.

46 min: spain substitute
54th min: SPAIN GOALL!! Esther Gonzalez has put it in the back of the net taking them 1-0 in the quarter final!!
Spain 1 England 0
