Roommates

Alessia, Millie, Ella and all their other teammates had all finally arrived. Chatter and laughter had already begun amongst the group and everyone was excited to get started.
Sarina had sorted out the room situations and was getting ready to announce it to the team.

Sarina: Hello everybody and welcome to your home for the Euros!!
*everybody cheers*
Now first things first, time to announce who you'll be sharing a room with. If there's any issues, please come let me know but I know you all get on well.
Rachel you'll be with Millie T
Leah you'll be with Beth
Lucy you'll be with Keira
Mary you'll be with Katie
Ella you'll be with Georgia

Alessia: phew that will give me a bit of peace and quiet *everybody laughs*

Sarina: Alessia you'll be with Millie B, you might not get as much peace and quiet as you hope hahaha

Sarina continued reading out the pairings and everyone was pleased. They took their luggage and headed up to their rooms.

Alessia POV:
I'm actually really pleased to be sharing with Millie, as loud as she can be she is also very chill. It's good to have that balance. We get on really well but as she's one of the older teammates, we don't spend that much time together just us two, so it will be nice to get to know her more. She's an amazing defender and person, helps thats she's nice to look at too.

Millie POV:
I'm excited to share with Alessia, she's one of the quiet ones so hopefully I will be able to bring her out her shell more. She's very chill as well so it's nice that we'll be able to just chill in our room and watch movies. May even get her doing tiktoks with me! Alessia gives me mysterious girl next door vibes, she's drop dead gorgeous and I know she has a great personality, so it will be interesting to know more about her.

We walk up to our room, luckily we're only on the second floor, this place is huge. As we approach our room, Alessia turns to me with a beaming smile.

Alessia: Here we are, room 201, do you want to do the honour and open the door?

Millie: it would be my pleasure Miss Russo

Alessia POV:
Our room is stunning, it's bigger than my room at home, it has 2 double beds, a little sofa and a coffee table. A tv, mini fridge and all the other essentials and the bathroom.. Wow I can't wait to use the shower.

Alessia: I don't think I'm gonna want to leave here

Millie: I know right look at the size of the beds! And we've even got a view of the park

Alessia: I brought us some snacks to put in the fridge, if you want anything just help yourself

Millie: Thanks lessi, that's a smart idea

We both unpack our stuff, chit chatting about the upcoming games. We're both incredibly nervous but also cannot wait to get out on that pitch. We have to meet downstairs in 10 minutes to get our schedules for the next few days. We have the day off today as many of us have travelled a lot so Sarina wants us to get a good nights sleep and start fresh in the morning.

A little while later, a group of us are chilling in the games room, there's a pool table, a basket ball hoop, a tv and some sofas, the perfect hang out spot for us.
Millie and Rachel are seeing who can score the most baskets. I know Millie is competitive, but she really must not want to loose against Rachel. It's actually quite cute how competitive she gets. Shit, why did I just think that

Millie: Hahaha I won again

Rachel: you won because your taller, you look down on the hoop you giant

Millie: I'm like four inches taller than you, it's really not much *laughing*

Rachel: yeah whatever, let's have another go

Whilst they're busy playing on the basketball hoop, me, Ella, Georgia, nikita, Meado and Leah are all sitting on the sofas talking.

Leah: so you all happy with who you're roomed with?

Meado: yeah I suppose, my roommate can be quite annoying tho *she says smiling*

Leah: not as annoying as mine *smiles*

Alessia: I'm happy sharing with Millie, as long as she doesn't lose against Rachel, she'll be happy going back to the room *laughing*

Millie: I heard that Russo, and yes your correct

Everyone laughs and continues chatting until it's time for dinner. The food on camp is always amazing so I'm looking forward to the meals for the time we're here.
After dinner, everyone chilled in the movie room for a bit. It's now about 8pm and everyone's getting ready to head up to their rooms, to get ready for bed as we have to be up bright and early tomorrow.
