The aftermath

Millie POV:
I can't believe we kissed. It was.. electric, thrilling. It felt like it was just us two in the whole world
We stare at each other, both processing what had happened

Millie: Ales-

Alessia: please let me speak first, I wasn't completely honest early. Yes I'm overwhelmed and home sick but the past two days I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. My whole life I've thought I was straight and I've known you for years but for some reason these past few days I've looked at you differently and honestly it freaked me out.

The sigh of relieve I felt inside me. I'm not going crazy, she feels something too! But what does this mean

Millie: you want to know something, it was about a year a half ago, I started thinking differently about who I was attracted to. I thought maybe I like girls too. I spoke to Rachel about it and she said it's completely normal to question your sexuality but I haven't looked at a woman and felt something the way I do when I look at you

The smile that grew on Alessia's face was a smile I'd cherish forever and I hope to make her smile like that as much as I can.
I don't know what this means for us. Maybe it means something, maybe it means nothing. I cuddled myself up to her more, the comfort I felt having her in my arms I didn't even feel in my past relationship.

Millie: we've had a long day, let's get some sleep. We can talk about this tomorrow if you'd like

Alessia: okay mills, goodnight

Millie: goodnight less

She curled herself up laying on my chest. I smiled. 'Mills' sounds perfect when she says it. Moments later I could hear little snores coming from her and it wasn't long after I drifted off. Smiles on both our faces.

Alessia POV:
The next morning I woke up, still wrapped up in Millie's arms. Wow I haven't slept that well in so long, it was like cuddling a teddy bear all night. My alarm went off at 6 and I know Millie's usually goes off at 6:30. I try to unravel myself from her arms but I hear her groan and pull me in tighter

Millie: mmh don't get up just yet I'm warm and cozy

Alessia: haha good morning, I need to jump in the shower before we head down to breakfast. We've got the first game tomorrow so got to push ourselves to the fullest today.

Millie: I love how motivated you are. Okay fine, but 5 more minutes.

Millie leans in and places a gently kiss on my lips.

Millie: and good morning to you too beautiful.

After we both got showered and dressed we headed downstairs for breakfast. We had a small discussion about what has happened and decided to only tell Rachel and Ella what has happened until we figure everything out ourselves.

Millie POV:
I've woken up with the biggest smile on my face, I couldn't be happier about what has happened. Rachel knows everything there is to know about me and will definitely pick up on my positive energy this morning.

Rachel: Good morning bestie, now may I ask, you have a new glow on your face, did something happen with miss Russo

Millie: *laughing* there is no hiding anything from you!

Rachel: soo, are you gonna tell me what happened

Millie: umm.. we kissed :)

Rachel goes to stand up and cheer but I have to pull her back down

Millie: your the only person I've told, we don't know what we are yet so please don't tell anyone

Rachel: your secret is safe with me! Ahh I'm so happy for you

I felt happy for myself too. The way I feel now I've never felt before in any relationship, i hope it's only going to get better

Alessia POV:
Training has been crazy today, I'm really looking forward to the match tomorrow and at old Trafford! My home football ground I couldn't be more excited just hope I'll get to play some minutes on the pitch but I'll be supporting my team regardless.

I told Ella about what happened with me and millie and she freaked out. She knows she's got to keep it a secret and that's one of the greatest things about Ella is she always keeps my secrets.

Training is over and we're all in the movie room after dinner. We've decided to all watch a movie and have a chill evening before tomorrows big game. Me and Ella sit in our seats and wait for everyone to arrive.
I haven't spoken to millie much today as we've all be super busy but we've still exchanged flirty glances which make me tingle.
The beautiful girl walks in and takes a sit next to me.

Millie: hi love, how's your day been

I feel my cheeks starting to warm up, she always makes me blush. I would be embarrassed if it was anyone else but I feel so naturally comfortable with mills.

Alessia: hey, I've had a good day have you

Millie: yeah but it's better now

The team decided to watch bend it like beckham. I mean it's not surprising because we are footballers, but the film is amazing. However I was more focused on the woman sat next to me. We caught eachother staring a few times during the movie and Millie even reached and held my hand during it. The movie ended and everyone cheered knowing we're that much closer to the match. We all said goodnight and headed up to our rooms. Ella caught up with me before I went inside

Ella: let me know if anything else happens :), and remember you don't have to have everything figured out right now. Goodnight less love you!

Alessia: yeah you're right thanks Tooney, goodnight I love you too!

I headed inside and saw Millie curled up in her bed almost asleep. She heard me coming in and lifted her head up.

Millie: another successful day at camp

Alessia: indeed and I can't wait for many more!

I got myself ready for bed and climbed into my duvet. I rolled over to face millie in her bed

Millie POV:
I want to tell Alessia how I've been feeling but I don't want to scare her off. I know she's trying to understand her feelings for me aswell as her sexuality and I will be patient as long as I have to be. Alessia is worth it.

Millie: I like you less, and I know that probably scares you but it scares me too. I haven't felt like this before. I want to do this with you if you'll have me and I will be here for you always. I know you still trying to figure stuff out but I will be by your side to help you.

Tears began to form in her eyes and her smile only grew bigger as I spoke.

Alessia: I like you too mills, yes this is scary but I'd rather be scared with you than anyone else

Hearing her say that only made me want to kiss her more. I climbed out of my bed and walked round and got into hers. I opened my arms up and she immediately wrapped herself in them and looked up at me. I placed a light kiss on her lips and pulled away and stared into her beautiful big blue eyes. She leaned in and kissed me again, much harder and deeper this time. We kissed until we couldn't breathe anymore.

No words were exchanged after the kiss, but we both knew exactly how we was feeling.
