HER POV

Its my daily routine now to wake up earlier,  get ready by the attendees and do pooja along with maa.

But today she asked me to get ready beautifully,  i have no idea where we are going . I have got a red lehanga presented by maa this time , its been beautifully embroidered with golden pleats and borders .

Adoring myself in the lehanga,  i tied the laces of the bottoms tightly secured with my waist . Wearing the red bangles followed by vermillions on my hair ,completed my look as the newly wedded princess of Mewar ,a small smile crept on my face thinking about the changes that happened in my life .

My journey to Mewar was not that pleasant for me the last time , but this place took all my heart which i finally gave upon him . Its been 3 days since our marriage happened ,  and i can sense the disappointment in karan's face whenever i see him in between some rituals or family gathering.

Walking towards the main entrance of the palace , i saw maa standing there with kavitha and other ladies . My eyes have beem searching for him , but that went noticed by maa .

"Monami, we are going to our ancestral temple.  Karan and monami , u both need the blessings from the goddess to start a new life together  " maa said , his name from her mouth made me excited to turn around and see him taking his steps to stand beside me.

He is looking ravishing as always along with the smile he carries on his well carved face,  with perfectly chiseled jaw lines.  I have been adoring his facial features,  but my dirty mind went down to notice his broad shoulders holding the well built muscular abs of him . I felt my cheeks getting red and looked at the other side sensing his gaze on me.

I was standing listening to maa's words , but felt tickling sensation on my palms . I looked down with widened eyes to see karan trying to hold my hands without anyone's notice .

I tried to get it out of his hold , but his grip was tighter than my capacity, i stood smiling at others trying to hide our hands with my dupatta.

Travelling a lot of miles,  we finally reached the temple.  Its been located inside a cave , sculptured and built by our ancestors.  Its looking scary as well as huge . We finished worshiping the goddess  and both of us were asked to do the puja infront of the goddess .

It took several hours to finish with the rituals,  and i felt exhausted in this heavy attire.

"Our royal pandit has been waiting for us in his place,  we need to meet him " said maa making us all move towards the other side of the temple , where i saw the pandit sitting along with his followers.

We made our seat infront of him , but this time karan left no chance to sit near me before someone takes it . I felt immense happiness inside me feeling his presence near me , but he was looking straight at the pandit without even glancing at me .

"Pandit , i hope u calculated the date for my son's wedding night " asked maa .

But her words made my heart beat fast and i looked at him , but he was having no emotions on his face , i felt odd.

"Your highness,  Yuvraj's wedding has been happened in one of the best day according to our hindu astrology.  From the day of his wedding,  if we count , it will be tomorrow the perfect day for them to start their married life " the pandit stated.
