The cupboard

Harry smiled, he was just told to follow Tony to his room. He was getting a room! Not a cupboard, or someplace out of the way, but a room for himself! Steve had followed them, which Harry was happy about. He couldn't say why, but he trusted Steve. They stopped in front of a door, it had a faded sign on it that said "storage closet". Harry frowns looking down. No one seems to notice his sudden shift. Tony opens the door and gestures into the room. It was easily big enough to be a bedroom, it even had windows, but to Harry it represented the fact that he was unwanted. Still he put on a fake smile and walked inside. Tony smiled too, "isn't it great? There's plenty of light and we can get you some posters and stuff to decorate with. We'll get a bed in here today." Harry nods saying, "Yeah, it's perfect. You don't have to get me anything. This is-this is more than enough." Tony looks at him and says, "Don't be ridiculous, we can personalize it a bit." Harry shrugs before saying, "Nah, I've got some stuff. I'll be fine. Thanks." Tony looks at him before shrugging and saying, "alright. Well if you change your mind let me know." Harry looks at him, eyes slightly glazed before saying, "I will. Thanks again, sir." Tony leaves, Steve following close behind. Harry sighs closing the door, "figures the second I find a real family, they shove me in a closet. Well at least it's bigger than at the Dursleys." Finally Harry pulls what little he still had out of his bag. First his potions text, he actually rather liked potions. Then his wand and his photo album. He took his cloak out and put it one of the drawers on the desk. Finally he sighed, that was all he had. Well, other then the clothes on his back. Harry sat down in the chair and stared out the window. "At least I'm away from Vernon."
