We walked to the store to buy our camping stuff for the week. "Okay, Mabel can you get stuff to last us for a week?"

"A week?!?"

I can't tell if she happy about that or what. I don't know what to do after the week is over... Should I tell her that she died and I made a deal with Bill? "Um.. Yeah a week" I laughed nervously.

"Oh okay... Wouldn't Grunkle Stan worry?"

"Nah he knows we're doing this.. Remember? That why we were in the forest...." I lied. I'm a terrible person.

"Oh true.... HEY!" She yelled making me jump.

"What? Jesus Mabel!"

"We should climb in one of those ball pit thingies!!!!" She jumped up and down.

I laughed and then sighed realizing I probably will never she her achieve her goal. " No, Mabel. Let's get what we came for."

"Boooo!!" She exclaimed sticking her thumb down.

"Whatever. Let's just get our tent, some blankets, pillows, lanterns, batteries, food, water and toilet paper..." I really didn't feel like fooling around it was already dark and we needed to set up camp.

"Haha toilet paper!"

"Seriously, Mabel! We need to get our things and go."

"Okay, okay! I'm going, I'm going."

She left to get some things while I looked for a small two person tent.

"Please no pictures!" Mabel appeared speaking in some ridiculous thick accent wearing a pink sparkly feathered boa.

"Okay. I won't!" I smiled. I'm going to miss her...

After we got everything, including the boa,we went back into the woods to find a perfect spot to camp.

"Over here!!" Mabel called. I followed her voice to see what she needed.

"That is an amazing spot! The grass is super plush and you can see each individual star!!"

So we set up there.

I awake to her snuggling next to me. "Good morning Mabes." I kissed her forehead and got up to make breakfast, corn beef hash.

Mabel woke up when the beef started browning. "Smells good. Whatcha cooking?" She said rubbing the sleep off her eyes.

"Corn beef hash... How did you sleep?"

"Really well! It was like I was dead!"

I cringed.

"What?" Mabel asked.

"Um, nothing! I- uh- I burnt my hand! Ooh ouch!" I said rubbing my hand.

"Oh, are you okay?!" She said jumping up.

"Yeah.. I'm fine. It just hurts but it'll be okay." I hate lying to her.

"Okay... So, after breakfast I was wondering if we could go swimming in this little pond I found earlier."

"Yeah, sure. Sounds cool!" I smiled.

"Cool!"
