ch 6

well I did stay that night in her room, but had to leave so early to get to the office

'why is her room so far away from the office. I would think it would be closer'

once I got there I was the first there which was odd

I sat down at my desk and stared at the pile of paper there which I may add is the normal for me.

I get through half by the time Birdey gets in

"hey Sam when did you get in?"

"oh I got in by 4 am. I really couldn't sleep, so I decided to get my work done early"

"well after helping the commander last night I passed by your room and saw a guy there.

I asked him who he was and he said his name is Jacob Billworth and he wanted to see you"

"wait Billworth I don't know him. why would he want to see me"

"don't know, but I asked him come by the office today"

"sure I hope I'm not in trouble"

"I don't think that is the reason"

"what do you mean"

before he could respond Jenny walked in

"good morning you both, um the cafe has made something that I can't have so I'm going to see

about getting a new chief since that has been happening more often"

"oh Commander a man named Jacob Billworth is looking for me, but I don't know him"

"Billworth, Billworth. oh yes Billworth um I think if you have not told Birdey about your life I think you should come into my office"

"oh OK"

once I got in her office I took a seat

"Sam, you're not in trouble I asked him to come by to ask you questions about where you're

 from like the place of your birth so can have more on record"

"oh thank goodness um well I do know one thing about the place of my birth, but I don't think 

they have any paper work on me anymore."

"may I ask why"

"they had a fire when i was there. I was 12 when it happened, but no one got hurt .everyone was

outside . I remember knowing this small box that has this cartoon picture on it.  I think it was a 

lunch box, but it hold everything that made me smile"

"well once Jacob comes in you call to explain more about your past and he can go out there and

 see anything will be able to put on the record"

"OK. oh sorry I left before telling you. I assumed you wanted me to leave early before anyone

 would see me come out of your room"

"sorry that it has to be this way, but just know I love you baby girl and I'll be sleeping in your

 room most of the time since I'm the one who needs to wake up earlier then you"

I got up and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before Leaving her office

"oh you must be Sam right"

"and who are you sir"

"oh sorry I'm Jacob Billworth"

"oh hi"

"lets do the questions shall we"
