After Emma showed Ray his room he flopped onto the bed, wrinkling the sheets.
"You sure are tired, huh?" Emma giggled,
"Mmm...yeah."
Emma flopped on Rays back making him cry "OW."
" AH! Sorry, sorry!"
"...Dummy."
Ray was trying to feign chillness while his face was bright red and his heart beating fast. He turned over so Emma could lay on his chest.
This was normal as kids but why does it seem so different now?
Do I...like her?
Ray shook his head trying to clear these thoughts. He needed to focus on a plan because Emma wasn't actually considering staying here, right?
"Emma."
"Hmm?"
"Why do you want to stay here?"
Emma rose from his chest and Ray immediately missed her warmth.
"...I...I missed everyone, I missed you, I missed Norman, I missed sweet little Phil," She sighed
"But I have you now, I found you and i don't wanna lose you again."
"Emma I'm n-"
"I just don't want to be by myself." She laid back down on Rays chest, breathing a sigh of contentment.
"I won't leave you Emma, just let me think about this okay?"
"Alright."
The two laid there in silence, Ray stroking Emma's fluffy ginger hair lulling her to sleep.
Ray looked at her endearingly, her soft snores put him to sleep to.

Two hours later
The door opened and a face popped in.
"Yo, meeting time."
"Oh, hi Megu-nee!" Emma greeted her
"Ugh don't call me that, I told you before its MEGUMI."
Emma didn't respond and instead just smirked.
Emma and Ray follow Megumi to the meeting room and are greeted.
"Hi, I'm Miki!
"I'm Asahi."
"His names means sunlight but in reality he's a moody emo!" Miki explained.
"Hey, kind of like you Ray." Emma noted.
Ray bonked her head
"Alright so whats this meeting for?" Ray asked.
"We need your help." Miki said.
"We need your help killing the demons." Asahi stated.
Ray widen his eyes and turn to Emma but she didn't seem surprised in fact she was smiling.
"What?"
