I finally did it.
I finally made her mine, spilling my true feelings to her wasn't something I did with just anyone, which I never have done with anyone, but Mickayla was different. She made me feel wanted, she made me feel special, different. She didn't treat me like everyone else who saw me from the outside and not the inside. Mickayla saw and knew all of me inside and out, she made me feel loved when no one ever did.
We had decided to go back to the Byers and celebrate the rest of the New Year with them. Mickayla fell into a comforting sleep as I drove us back, she looked so peaceful and beautiful, the happy glow now radiating from her skin, the moonlight making it radiate even more. I threw over my leather jacket over her to keep her warm as she slept, shut snuggled into it pulling it over her shoulder.
I got the girl of my dreams.
