you walked into the house quickly, closing the door behind you. you sighed in relief, but that feeling didn't disappear. it was such a terrible feeling, this bad feeling that flowed down all the way to your gut. it was a burning sensation in your stomach, what could it be? were you stressed? no. you knew it couldn't be stress. then what is it?

you slipped off your shoes, your coat following as you placed it on the hanger. it was a scary feeling as if someone was following you or trying to attack you but there was nobody. you didn't know if you wanted to cry because of it or not. you threw your bag on the sofa as you slumped back.

"i'm home..!" you announced. you sat there for a minute thinking about this feeling before shoving your face in your hands. why do you have to feel like this? so annoying. "oh, you're home?" jihyuk appears from the inner rooms, a smile on his face once he sees you. you removed your hands from your face slowly, a frown on your face. he noticed and came over to you, sitting beside you. "what's wrong?" he tilted his head, cupping your face. you scoffed, "i really don't know.." you said as you held onto his arms. "i just have this really bad feeling. it's like someone might attack me. like, something bad might happen." you turned your head to face him, frowning. "are you hurt? did someone follow you?" he asked, eyes filled with worry. "i'm not hurt, i'm okay." you reassured him. then, he engulfs you into his arms, his hand rubbing your back. the action calms you down a bit. you let yourself rest against him, sighing heavily. "i'm here for you, i won't let anyone hurt you. you're safe with me." he said, soothing your worries. "i really don't understand why i feel like this. it's annoying." you grunted, hearing him chuckle.

"it's not funny.." you pouted. "it's not. it's okay, i got you." he says while stroking your hair because he knows you like it when he does that.
