i woke up to the side of the bed empty.

Maybe Dazai had already gone to work?

As disappointed as I was to wake up alone, I got up regardless. Putting on my choker and fixing my hair, I exited the room to go to my office, next to Dazai's.
I was humming a small tune from a song I couldn't remember the name of whilst calmly walking down the halls of the port mafia. For some reason, everyone was whispering when I walked by. I could almost feel their odd stares at me. It was creeping me out.

Ignoring the stares, I continued walking to the office, as calm as possible. This was weird, but the fact that Dazai settled into the mafia so quickly is even weirder. But even now, he looks tired and worn out all the time. I'm honestly getting worried about him. He deserves more rest for the tiring job he has. Then again, the mafia is growing more and more vicious every single day. Dazai had indirectly raised Yokohama's awareness of us, and it's getting the attention of the detective agency. Too much attention. Maybe this is his plan, so i shouldn't worry about it?

"Chuuya~ I need help with this work, the agency is getting annoying now. I need new methods that will calm them down a tiny bit."
Definitely his plan.
"how the hell am i meant to help?" I said, shouting from the other side of the closed door.
"just come inside, i need emotional support right now, my brain is about to explode from all this work without a good sleep~" he shouted back in a tired and lazy tone. I walked into the room to see Dazai's arms sprawled out over his desk like a child in the middle of a boring school lesson. His eyes looked as if they were fighting to stay open, well, that was until he saw me enter. All of a sudden, he was quite energetic, and he looked somewhat happy? He wore a small smile on his lips, and I walked up to him. I stood in front of him, the rim of my hat casting a shadow over my eyes. 

"what did you need, Dazai?" I asked impatiently. If he was about to give me work, I might as well get it over and done with.

(At sushi)

I started barking absentmindedly about the plan, "So what are you saying? Infiltrate the mafia and kill their boss, so we can finish the mission we have been putting off? That's a suicide mission, so what will we do then?" Seriously though! How the hell are we supposed to infiltrate them when they are the most guarded building in Yokohama? It makes no sense! It is also important to note that despite Dazai becoming more violent and merciless, some of us still miss him. And we are expected to kill him? 

No, this is good. The mafia will soon be running short on people to replace the boss which will eventually be the cause of their downfall. We should kill Dazai. Show no mercy, and shoot him dead. Wait, what am I thinking! I don't have the guts to kill anyone, let alone kill Dazai! I wouldn't forgive myself! Dammit. I'm just repeating myself. I should just forget he was ever my mentor at all. He became a different person entirely. Also, he still goes out on missions with his partner when nobody else can, that could be a way for us to kill him, when he is all weak and beat up. 

It's the perfect chance! I need to tell this idea to Kunikida, so that we can discuss it in detail. 

Now all we have to do is wait.

A member of our army just came in to tell me that the Agency is going to attempt to kill me. We need more information, but the only way we got that information is from accidentally running into Atsushi whilst he was talking about it over the phone. Wait.. that just gave me an idea, what if we got one of the agency members on our side? I mean, its not impossible, I just have to find the right member without making it obvious to anyone such as Ranpo. I rested my head onto the palm of my hand to keep it up, and opened my laptop to do some research on notes I had previously made to know them better and help me work with them better. I also needed to take new notes aswell, such as things that I had previously not needed to know. Such as personal life, which I needed a spy from the mafia to do for each of the members apart from Fukuzawa and Ranpo since their loyalty to the Agency is too high. 

Kunikida seems to be off the table too, as he is bad at keeping secrets and he has too much rules, ideals and he is a man of morals. He would snitch almost instantly.

Yosano is a probability, she knows about the mafia well, she can be violent, her ability is quite useful to us, but yet again, she has her morals. And she is way too close to Ranpo. They are practically bestfriends. She would be likely to snitch, and unless she tried ten times harder to keep the secret from Ranpo, he will know about it. Its risky to pick her.

Kyouka will also be off the table. She has suffered in the mafia too much. But then again, nobody would suspect her. And she has experience too. She is good at stuff involving the mafia. But she has also been took in by Atsushi, so she would be likely to tell him. With the right persuasion, I'm sure we can bring her in with us. She is possible. Maybe I will pick her.

On the other hand, Atsushi would snitch on us. If he is the only choice, then I would have to pray he misses me alot.

Tanizaki is not possible, if we bring him in, we would need Naomi too. And she would snitch to Haruno. However, if we brought in Haruno, we would have to hope and pray that she wouldn't bring up the topic in a conversation with Naomi.

That would leave us with Kenji. He believes anything can happen if we are honest, so if we convince him to work for us secretly for the side of good, we might be able to get him in. It is risky though.

Kenji, Kyouka, Yosano, Atsushi.

Who is the least likely to snitch?

Atsushi is the most risky, Yosano not far behind.

But Kenji and Kyouka are fourteen. They don't know better than what the agency tells them, and they say to kill me. Plus Kenji doesn't like the mafia much, he only likes me and Chuuya I'm pretty sure.

If I can get Atsushi on our side, he is the closest person to me in the agency. Okay, I will bring Atsushi into the mafia as a spy.

But will he want to stay permanently?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

We have to try our luck here though.

Meaning we should pick Atsushi.

How the fuck am I meant to get him here though?
