This school was a mystery to behold anyway. It had an old gothic feel to it. It sent shivers down my spine every time I came to school. The Gargoyles on the top didn't help lessen the feeling either. They felt almost alive, I couldn't put my finger on it, but they felt like it.
Most girls here were terrified of them. It was a school old ritual, if you can go up to the top and touch one then you were part of a certain clique. It was stupid that people got cheap thrills on stuff like that.
I sighed and went into the school, I felt eyes watching me when I entered and left school. I heard screaming and yelling. 'A fight this early?' There was always a fight here, everyone was a target for a fight. It was probably two guys. "Dea it's a fight a new boy and a Nero!" I saw my best friend Oceana running to me and yelling at me this information. 'A new kid? It's the middle of the school year.' She grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the yelling crowd.
When we got there I saw what she meant. It was a new boy, he had jet black hair with shining bright orange eyes. He had a muscular build the type where he was big but wasn't too big where his clothes looked tough on him. He was a good 6'6 he had a couple of inches on the Nero.
Something was off about him.
If I stared close enough I saw wings. Not angel wings but those of a bat. There were only three types of creatures of lore that I knew who had wings like that. A master vampire almost to the ranks of Dracula himself, a damn succubus they were a pain, and a Gargoyle. Some vampires we're pale, but being what a Kitsune I knew that he wasn't a vampire.
'That sent shivers down my spine.' I saw his wings starting to materialize. This was going to send pandemonium throughout the school, I needed to act fast. I pushed myself through the crowd. Most moved aside except for the few difficult people. I got through the crowd, I grabbed the Gargoyles wrist and pushed him to the other side of the crowd. I stopped the Neros fist and pushed him back I was careful enough to not hurt him to drastically.
I went over to the other boy and grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the top of the school. "Dea! Dea where the hell are you going?" I didn't have time to stop and talk to my best friend about this. I headed towards the quickest route to the roof. After heading up a flight of stairs while using my powers to see if people followed. Some did but they gave up after a couple of turns. When we got to the part of the roof where the Gargoyles were. I locked the door after he got through the door. I threw him to the furthest side of the wall.
I felt the air start to stir, the other Gargoyles started to wake up due to one of their others being harmed. This was not going to be easy.
