I was exhausted when I was walking home. I opened one to many portals. My body could handle it but the Chos powers had drained me by alot. I could have called Ki to pick me up, but I needed the time to myself to clear my head plus I didnt have my phone on me. I instinctively put my hand to my ear to lightly tap the earpiece in my ear. When I felt it wasnt there I remembered that I tossed ot on the dash of my car. I gave a defeated sigh and booked it home.
Several hours later I arrived back home. I wanted to rest but I had to check on everyone else to see if they had made it back home safely. I stumbled to the back facility. The gun shoot woumds nevered healed so I was feeling a bit woozy from the amount of blood loss and ghe walk home. On the way home I tried to patch up the wounds with magic but I didn't have it in me. I remembered that it was a walk back there. Swearing and stumbling all the way.
I placed my hand on the pad and walked in. I pressed the elevator button and made the symbol with my finger. As soon as I was through the transparent screen Aral ran up to me to hold me steady. Concerm and worry were plastered on his face, "You okay?" I nodded solemnly and started to walk carefully to the nearest bed. My tails came out and swayed slowly I was feeling sleepy
Ki had ran up to me with medical supplies. "Where is the girl?" "You need rest before you go and see the girl." "I don't need to r-" I saw the world go black around me.
I woke up later and felt sheets around me. I was bandaged up in spots that I now felt. I removed the covered off me and saw Aral along with Ki beside my bedside. I smiled ever so gently at them. It was nice to have anyone right beside me. I moved to get out of the bed and noticed that I was on nothing but shorts and a tank to match. Aral had peaceful look when he slept, something in my heart felt funny. He was wearing a black DMC shirt with black short and white shoes. His messy black hair were cropped over his eyes.While Ki had on a blue and orange sundress and tan wedges with the blace.strapes kn them. Her hair curly and bouncy on had more of a woried look while she slept.
I gave a small laugh, I looked back at Aral. 'I wonder?' A thought had crept into my mind. I tapped Aral lightly on the cheek. He woke up instantly.
He saw me beside him, "Liked what you saw?" I started to blush madly, what was he insinuating? "I promise that I didn't look." He was cute right now I felt myself blush and looked away to hide my embarrassment. I woke up Ki and she was happy that I made a full recovery. We all went down stairs and found the girl Cho she was wearing a pink glitter skirt with a white shirt with a bunny on it. Her blonde hair was in pigtails on the top of her head. I knew Ki had put the outfit togther. She had on black glittery flats. Shewas at the table eating breakfast.
I glanced towards the clock to saw it was in the morning. "What day is it?" "Sunday." A meek voice came from somewhere around the room there was nobody else in here exvept for us and Cho. I looked at Cho, "She was out til today as well." I looked at with disbelief on my face. I heard a knock on the door. I went to get it, I had a large brown envelope. It was from Oceana she had gotten my homework from my classes. I dreaded the work. I walked back to the dining area and Chi was finishing up a bowl of cereal and decided to make herself another one. She seemed hungry, I was happy that she was eating she needed something on her stomach. "Well what's your name? Might I ask?" She looked at me with pure happiness, "The name's Cho Nazukki, but I liked to be called Sugar." She was an interesting girl for her age.
"She has only spoken to you. Im a little shocked Dea." My glance left Cho and went to Ki. I raised my eyebrow and sat down near Cho. "Well do you care which one that I call you?" She shook her head vigorously no. She was happy with either one. I started to laugh at her for the enthusiasm she had. "Well you will be staying with for a while, let's go shopping for clothes.plus I need to get clothes for Aral too."
I went back up to my room to wash and change into a pair of white thigh shorts with rips in them a Englend half shirt with a white chocker with a deep blue pendent along with black jordans. I grabbed my wallet and went to my room to get dressed. I unwrapped my body to expose my bandaged body parts to fresh air. It was cold and stung a little, but it didn't bother me in the slightest.
I placed on each piece of clothing gently. I replaced the bandages with new medication and bandages. I felt better about it. I was gentle with everything that I did. So I was really fucking comfortable with this right now.
I felt my right hand starting to burn I unwrapped it and saw a tattoo like symbol on the back of my hand. It was a gem like object with a elaborate pattern onthe side my hand. Its was a silver like color, with a hint of white floating around in it.
I decided to ignore it went about my business. When I went down stairs and saw my father. "Hey daddy I'm going out now." He looked at me with acknowledgment he saw my hand and was confused like I was. He pulled me close so he could look at my hand and pulled it closer. His grip was light and gentle. "What's this?" I just giggled as he gently tapped it, Actually I dont know. But don't worry about it. Oh Ki is here, plus my friend amd a girl I rescued." He noded the thing abou tmy father was. He knew I saved demons and people of lore. I feel like he is proud of me in a way. He knew I was part of the organization, that was becase when he was a little older than me he was apart of the same one.
"Goodmorning everyone." I heard my father speak. He got a reply. "C'mon everybody lets go before traffic gets to bad." The noise of chairs being scooted back on the mahogany floor indicated that they were coming. I grabbed the keys to the Escalade. They were out the door
