Going home was a good thing my father left to go back to work and I went back to the roof. I texted Oceana to give me the work for each class that I was going to skip. I went to the roof and found the gargoyles waiting for me apparently. I slammed the roof door shut. "Why?" They looked at me, with a mic of confusion and amusement "Why what?" I sighed in frustration. "Why did you let Aral come back down? I was handling it." The amused looks were more prominent.
"Why are you defending one that isn't of your own kind?" This bitch here. Her brash statement sent me over the edge my tails appeared and I moved faster then the eye could see I slammed the female or at least I hope she was a female Gargoyle into the wall behind her. "Don't ever question why I do anything. I do things because I want to not because it is a damn obligation. Next time you question why I do something, I will fucking rip your wings off." She had a terrified look plastered on her face.
"It was vital to let Aral come down there and let the boy who was fighting him admit to doing it. There was no reason for you to even try to even defend him." I looked at the gargoyle who had grayer skin. I was guessing he was the leader. I let the girl go and I started to walk away. I ran into a person, it was Aral. "Seri, don't be an ass because you are envious of the girl. Because Aral has taken a liking to her." Seri looked away pissed and embarrassed, "Aral you will be keeping watch over the girl." He wanted to object, I left before I heard why he wanted to object to watching over me.
I went to the office to get my stuff I left in there. It was already on the table, "Going home already Ms. Kalani? Are you alright?" I touched my cheeks and felt tears already staining my cheeks. I usually didn't cry but something about these tears was different. I didn't understand the reason behind why I was crying but I just was. "Don't worry about me I'll be fine. Also, I am taking my leave for the day." I signed out and grabbed my stuff to leave.
I got outside of the building feeling the eyes of the protective gargoyles on me. It was a mixture of feelings, I didn't care about how they felt right now. I walked to my car and got in. I started the car up, I was glad it was Friday. I didn't know if I would be willing to come to school the next day anyway.
I started the car, I swiped away the lingering tears that were staining my cheeks. I headed back to my house, when I got back to the house I parked in front of the house right behind my father's car. I got out and took my stuff with me. I felt someone behind me, "What do you want Aral?" He didn't say a word. I ignored his presence behind me I went into the house. "Your father just went to sleep. Do you want me to tell him that you just got home?" "No it's okay Lana, let's not wake him."  The maid nodded and went back to whatever she was doing.
I headed upstairs to my room, I left the door opened. I went into my bathroom with my training shorts and tank. I was going to train so I could blow off some of the feelings they were lingering. So I changed into my training outfit and exited the bathroom I saw Aral there. I pushed by him, he grabbed my wrist. I felt a jolt of electricity, it pushed my tail to appear. They swayed frantically behind me. "Let me go now." He loosened his grip but didn't release my wrist. "What are you doing? These are humans who will try to kill you!" Oh... that's why he was acting weird before he entered my home. I laughed a little and pulled my wrist free.
"No they won't they already know what I am. They have to keep this secret to themselves at all times. In fact, they can't even tell anyone due to the spell that was placed on them for them not being even to say what I am to anyone else. So I'm prepared if the spell does break, you can be yourself around her they have seen countless numbers of mythological creatures running around here." He seemed a little bit later now. "Come with me so you can see how a kitsune trains." I practically dragged him with me into the facility outside the house it was a little way down the road. I shifted to a kitsune and Aral followed me by flying.
When we got there I shifted back and I put my hand on the scanner. When the scanner was done reading my palm the two four-story metal automatic doors opened slowly and we went in.
