I got into the driver sear and started the engine. The car was high tech which was supposed to be able to sync with our powers. They fit to each person's personality. I revved the engine to warm it up, it pured silently. I was loved that sound. I saw Aral get in and climbed in the back seat, Ki opened the door and plopped down in the passenger seat as soon as she closed the door I shot off as.soon as fhe garage doors opened.
I was going around the top speed of the car normally Aral was gripping the sides of his seat. "It's not that bad Aral." His eyes turned yellow, "If you wanna say that." He was petrified and I loved it. I guess it was the umruly side of me that was aching for Zinnos to attack today.
I parked at the nearest bar it was a nuetral place. "Lets walk it. Dont want them knowing were here right?" They both nodded , it seemed liked Aral was the most happy about my discion. I gave him a small devious smile. We got out and started to walk towards the town.
I let my tails and ears out most of the people here were of lore, but there were some normals. They were used to see a lot of us. "Aral you can be yourself." He semed to get what I meant he let his wings out. Ki hamded both of us headsets we were going to need them. "Ki go check into a hotel and coordinate us from there." We all pur in the headsets and I gave her my credit card. She went off the the neutral hotel.
Aral took to the sky I smiled at him. I smelled the air, I didn't know what I was smelling for it just seemed right. There was a crackling in my ear. I lightly touched the ear piece it lit up a bright red. Ki voice came theough the reciever. "Can you both hear me?" "Loud and clear." Aral was the first to answer. "Yeah we got you Ki whats up?" "Just checking." I continued to walk towards the heart of downtown.
It was bright and full of life this late at night. I heard the beating of Aral's wings, I knew he was keeping watch. I sighed and heard something, "Hey you heard about the auction going on?" Ki voice rang loud and clear. "Thats where were going?" "Yep its a child auction mostly hummans but from what I know that is where they are going to sell Cho." I gritted my teeth this was going to be teouble if I didn't play my cards right. "Give me the street amd I'll head there now." "1871 Millbrick Rd." "Got it. Aral drop down so we can walk together." I felt him drop down from the sky and we walked togther.
Kis voice rand loud in my ear "It's an open auction unlike most that they asshats host. It's going to be at the Nea-shi building the round one. It's on the fifth floor." I had a devious smile on my face I hoped that it was what type of auction that I think it is.
When I got the the building it was alot less conspicuous then I thought it was going to be. I looked around and saw most women and men had people beside them. But they weren't normal people or friends. It was I couldn't put my finger on. I hope that this auction would open my eyes.
