"Wow! This party's huge," Jani said. "Let's go in already," Kelly practically screamed. Classic Kelly, she's always one for the crowd. I as usual felt that I had too much pride to enter. I only came because Jani and, of course, Kelly begged me to. "Can't we just eat dinner at CPK or something? This is really not how I planned the night to go," I said.

When Jani looked at me with confusion, I remembered that I tried to look enthusiastic for them. Ugh what do I say now? Still thinking that I was going to regret my actions I said, "Guys, I know this makes me sound like a total hypocrite because I agreed to come and all. I totally get that, but I really feel uncomfortable around these people and I don't want them to hurt you or me."

"We get that, Christy, but we've planned for this for literally weeks and we don't want to back out right now. Can you just be cool and hang around us if you don't like the people around there? ," Jani said. And of course Kelly agreed with her. I swear Jani could speak for both them for anything. I guess I'm usually the one on the other side of these kinds of situations. But whatever. They're right. This could be tons of fun!

So not as reluctantly as I wanted to seem, I practically shouted, "Okay!" "That's the spirit!" Kelly adds, "Let's go!" Then we all ran in, not giving a second thought about what people would say. And it actually seemed pretty great. When I walked in everything was great. Loud music. Dancing teens. Everyone and I mean everyone knew my name. Even people I didn't realize knew me too. Crazy how things always seem to work out. Ah, like Cinderella my best friends or my fairy godmother made me feel better. But just like any story the bad had to come. At this time it was Caitline Young the very evil stepmother herself.

She looked okay. Caitline had a black skater skirt with a floral print crop top and of course her iconic wedges that she wore everywhere. In my opinion, her outfit was very average. I saw the same, exact outfit almost every other week. What she did seem to notice was my cute new white baby heels and decided to attack. Never a good actress, Caitline Young dramatically did a maneuver that in her mind, must've been a convincing trip. To the untrained eye, it could be taken simply as that, but I was much more experienced and I knew that that wasn't the case. And with the punch splashing directly onto my shoes, I knew that she did this on purpose. This was something I wouldn't accept.

Especially when she smirked and said, "My bad. I didn't mean to ruin your shoes, but now I guess that goes with your face now." Without sparing a single moment, I replied, "Aww, is somebody threatened? Am I showing you up at your own party. Do you need to apply more makeup?" Right about the time she was going to scream my head off said," Save it. And just own up to what you did for once." With that I turned on my heel and walked away.

Apparently, people heard about my shoes and stuff because many people came to me to say that they're glad that I said that to her. I was proud of myself, not that I wanted to hurt her feelings, but because I wanted to stick up for myself and teach her not to pick on everybody. I just hate it when people think that they're good enough to put everyone down. And in this case, I feel that I made my point.

Kelly and Jani met back up with me later to fill me in on what happened to Caitline Young afterwards. Apparently, she stormed out of the house and sat in the back for awhile. I thought she cooled down, but the next victim of hers wasn't that lucky. Knowing that I wasn't going to take her rude comments, she took it out on someone else I am close to...Maddie.

Maddie and I are close, but we don't always hang out together with Kelly and Jani because she's extremely shy. People like her and all because she's super sweet, but others pick on her when they're feeling low. And, of course, Caitline Young is one of these people. But like any good friend would, I wouldn't let her get away with this.

So now I was ready for round two. I saw that Caitline took advantage of Maddie's beautiful, pink peplum top. Caitline's never has been original in any of her schemes. So, I was walking straight up to Caitline to tell her off, but Matt O'Brien beat me to it. He is Maddie's boyfriend and a pretty protective one as well, and let's just say that Caitline won't be picking on Maddie anymore.

After the party, Jani, Kelly, and I all did make it to CPK and we ate a large dinner with Jani's parents at 9:30. Later on, we all had a sleepover at Jani's and talked about just about everything.

But one bit of conversation really shocked me. Kelly seriously asked me, "Why did you not just ignore Caitline after she ruined your shoes?"

When she noticed me staring back at her with eyes the size of a cow's she added, " You know if you ignored her maybe she would have stopped trying to hurt your feelings a long time ago." Taking a deep breath I calmly said," Kelly, if I hadn't been rude back to her. She would go on hurting more people like poor Maddie back there. Why would you ask me this?" "I don't know," she replied. "I think you do," I said. "Let's just drop it," she said.

Somehow, I feel like I'm starting to know her less. Should I be worried?
