I rubbed my eyes as I got down from bed, my foot hitting the cold floor, I winced a little as I realized how cold it was, staring at the window at the far end of my room and noticed the snow falling down on the balcony outside my window, I sighed ''I guess its winter already'' I whispered to myself and instead of taking a shower, I walked towards my window and take in the cold breeze before shifting into my wolf form and sped of to get my mind off what happened yesterday ...
FLASHBACK
which was my 18th birthday, a good time of year where you get to find your mate your true love, and since I was the pack's beta daughter I had to attend functions with him ,which include welcoming a new alliance from a pack nearby ''red moon'' yes that was the name of the pack and fortunately for us he was one of the strongest werewolf in the world which means under his alliance we'll be fine ,but something happen while I escorted my father to welcome the alpha , the minutes our eyes met, the only word that came out of my lips were 'mate'....
Yes my mate was standing infront of me and for moonsake he's the alpha, but he immediately ignored me and walked past me ,although based on the look of his eyes I guess he felt the bond connecting me and him together, I felt sad and my wolf whined in pain seeing as our mate left us.....
TEN MINUTES after the party I decided to walk up to him when I saw him alone in the hallway ,I guess he felt me walking towards him because the minute I came closer he tried walking away, I couldn't help but get annoyed at the fact that he kept trying to walk away from me, so I spoke first '' why are you trying to ignore me, you already felt the bond between us , so why do you keep ignoring me'' I said instantly with pain laced in my voice, the next he said shattered me completely '' I don't want you ,stay away from me'' and he walked away, I didn't talk to my dad that night even when he persuaded me to talk to him, yes my dad loves me a lot and I'm he's only princess, although it's not he's fault but I couldn't help but blame him, after all if I never accompanied him this wouldn't have happen, I cried myself to sleep that night at the rejection, stacy [my wolf]wouldn't talk to me either , she wasn't happy at our mate rejection....
BACK TO PRESENT
And that's why I felt sad this morning, still walking down the snowy path I felt someone watching me but shrug it off , before I could turn to walk back home I felt a hand pulled softly on my fur dragging me back, hands clasped on my mouth......
